HARD TO BELIEVE won a Wolverhampton novice that has worked out really well and he's given another chance despite failing to meet expectations at York last time. Handicap newcomers Outflank and Outback Legend are feared most in a race where it's difficult to rule any of the sextet out.

Timeform Comments

Hard To Believe (IRE)
Much improved when winning at Bath on his latter juvenile outing and progressed further when winning 5-runner novice at Wolverhampton in March. Below expectations in mid-field on handicap debut at York 5 weeks ago, but previous form has worked out well and he's worth another chance.
Outback Legend (IRE)
Bred to stay well and he was suited as expected by the step up in trip when winning a 9-runner maiden at Haydock (11.6f, soft) 29 days ago. Opening mark looks workable and he's open to improvement on handicap debut.
Brave Hunter
Showed improved form switched to a handicap/upped to 1m in 12-runner event at Windsor earlier in the month, just bumping into a progressive type completing a 4-timer. Bit below expectations when only mid-field at Sandown (1m) since and now steps up markedly in trip (bred for middle-distances).
Temple
Wootton Bassett colt who reached 575,000 gns as a yearling. Improved from his debut when third of 9 in a maiden at Nottingham (8.3f, soft) in October but shaped as if amiss (lost action) in a Southwell novice (1½m) on return. That's a slight concern, but he still should do better now handicapping.
Outflank (IRE)
Has run to a similar level when third on all 3 starts in maiden/novices, not given the hardest of times when most recently seen in a 10-runner event at Nottingham (1¼m, good to soft) last month. Step back up in trip/good ground will suit and he should impove now handicapping in first-time blinkers.
Battosai (IRE)
Got into a much better rhythm in first-time blinkers and found progress when second of 12 in handicap at Salisbury (1¼m, good to soft) last month and not disgraced faced with quicker conditions when fourth of 7 in handicap at Doncaster (1¼m, firm) 14 days ago.
