Timeform View

SUN GODDESS looked every inch a Group-class juvenile in the making when confirming the abundant promise of her debut at the Curragh 4 weeks ago and she can provide Aidan O'Brien with a fourth win in the race. Silent Beauty and Light of Dawn have pedigrees and sales prices to match and they can only improve on debut wins, while Jolivette is also expected to make above-average improvement.

Timeform Comments

Acclamation Star
Foaled February 11. 10,000 gns yearling, Acclamation filly. Half-sister to 9.5f winner Ballarat Bertie. Dam Italian winner up to 1m (including at 2 yrs). Green early on debut but got the hang of things and ended up winning going away at Bath 3 weeks ago. Bare form is ordinary but sure to improve.
Bated Benevolence
Foaled February 1. Bated Breath filly. Half-sister to 7f winner Galileo Charm. Dam unraced out of winning half-sister to Breeders' Cup Filly And Mare Turf winner Wuheida. Well on top at the finish starting out at Nottingham (6f) 3 weeks ago. Race starting to work out but this is still a tough ask.
Blue Sign
Foaled April 17. £50,000 2-y-o by Blue Point. Closely related to useful 1m/8.6f winner Advancing and half-sister to 1m winner Iftikhaar and 1¼m-12.5f winner Muktamil. Plenty of stamina in the pedigree and unlikely to possess the speed or know-how to be a factor here judged on debut run.
Crazy Cubana (IRE)
€38,000 foal, 120,000 gns yearling, Kodiac filly. Half-sister to 1½m winner Lancillotto. Dam, 1¾m winner, half-sister to very smart winner up to 1½m Grandeur. Greenness apparent but stayed on very strongly to lead near the finish on debut at Nottingham (6f). That race hasn't worked out.
Dark Issue (IRE)
Foaled February 12. 62,000 gns yearling, Dark Angel filly. Dam French 9.4f/1¼m winner who stayed 1½m. Created very favourable impression when a decisive winner on debut at Goodwood over 6f 4 weeks ago. Yard has targeted that race with better 2-y-os in the past so she's interesting.
Dee's Funny Girl (IRE)
Foaled February 1. 16,000 gns yearling, Cotai Glory filly. Half-sister to 6f winner Logudoro. Dam unraced. Had to wait for a gap but it came in time to make a winning start at Thirsk (5f) a month ago. This a totally different assignment.
Desert Sands (IRE)
Foaled March 28. €10,000 yearling, £40,000 2-y-o, Gleneagles filly. Half-sister to winner up to 1m Callisto Dream. Dam 7f/7.6f winner. Showed a bit amidst greenness when mid-field starting out at Newbury but she's out of her depth here.
Dubai Charm (IRE)
Foaled January 2. £90,000 yearling, Blackbeard filly. Dam, 7f winner, half-sister to useful 6f winner Brussels. 25/1, promising start when second of 8 in 6f Nottingham novice in April but failed to match that form at Yarmouth. Tough ask.
Glamorize (IRE)
Foaled April 28. £155,000 2-y-o. Starman half-sister to 3 winners, including 2-y-o 6f winner Karazhal and 6f/6.4f winner Karakoul. Dam useful 1¼m winner. Probably bumped into a useful one when second of 6 on Lingfield debut (5f) 3 weeks ago. Step up in trip sure to suit but huge leap needed.
Hidden Gift (IRE)
€60,000 yearling, £150,000 2-y-o, Sioux Nation filly. Half-sister to 2-y-o 5f winner New Theory. Dam, 7f winner, half-sister to smart 1m/9f winner Originaire out of useful 2-y-o 5f winner Polly Perkins. Acquired by leading owner after her breeze and runner-up effort over 5f on debut was promising
Jolivette
Foaled February 8. Wootton Bassett filly. Half-sister to connections' smart winner up to 1m Jonquil. Dam 6f winner (including at 2 yrs) out of half-sister to Frankel. Fine pedigree and by no means extended to make a winning debut at Newmarket (from Topaz). Above-average improvement forthcoming.
King's Prize
Foaled February 6. Too Darn Hot filly. Half-sister to 2-y-o 7f winner King's Trust. Dam 1¼m/10.2f winner. Looks the part and made a winning debut by 1½ lengths from Dubai Charm at Nottingham (6f) in April. That isn't form to be getting carried away with but she's in expert hands.
Kochella (IRE)
Early foal who fetched 72,000 gns this year. Kodiac filly. Half-sister to 6f/7f winner Nights Over Egypt. Dam, half-sister to smart winner up to 8.6f Dream Lodge, out of unraced daughter of 1000 Guineas winner Sleepytime. Displayed plenty of speed when third of 7 at Pontefract 17 days ago.
Libertango (IRE)
Foaled February 23. €130,000 yearling, 400,000 gns 2-y-o, No Nay Never filly. Dam once-raced half-sister to smart winner up to 1¼m (stayed 16.5f) Baydar. Costly purchase who looked useful when landing 8-runner maiden at Leicester 3 weeks ago, well on top. That puts her firmly in the mix.
Light Of Dawn
Foaled February and went for €625,000 at the breeze-ups. Half-sister to numerous winners, including at 2 yrs, and she looked good when accounting for 3 rivals with experience at Carlisle 11 days ago. Open to significant improvement for yard who has enjoyed success in this race.
Love Is (IRE)
€90,000 Sioux Nation half-sister to several winners who overcame clear inexperience to make a successful start to her career in 6f Windsor novice. Merely matched that form when second of 3 in a conditions race at Goodwood but well-run 6f will suit.
Magnesium
Confirmed the promise of her Ascot debut over 5f when landing 10-runner novice at Kempton a month ago (6f). Dominating this field a completely different ask.
Ron's Angel
Harry Angel filly who showed plenty of ability at big odds when second of 10 in maiden at Bath (5f) and she didn't need to improve to land the odds at Lingfield 2 weeks ago. Uphill task to say the least in this company, though.
Roxelina
Foaled February 9. 170,000 gns foal, Havana Grey filly. Sister to smart winner up to 1m Holguin and half-sister to winner up to 6f Captain's Bar. Dam 1m winner. Unable to meet market expectations when third of 10 at Windsor 11 days ago but she did travel with purpose.
Silent Beauty (IRE)
Foaled January 10. €1,000,000 yearling, Night of Thunder filly. Dam winner up to 1m (2-y-o 7.3f winner), including Matron Stakes. Needs to go some to match her sales price but she took the first positive step when an easy winner at Yarmouth (6f) a month ago. Much more to come.
Sun Goddess (IRE)
Took a while to get organised when a fast-finishing second starting out over 5f at Navan in May and confirmed that promise with a dominant display over 6f at the Curragh a fortnight later. Far from extended on that occasion and she looks the one to beat here for leading connections.
Tall Trees
Caught the eye when finishing race off nicely at Newbury (6.5f) ultimately finishing fifth. Will know more this time but tough to see her getting involved just 18 days on.
Topaz (IRE)
Persian Force filly who shaped well first time when staying on well to finish second to Jolivette at Newmarket, albeit flattered a touch by her proximity to that re-opposing useful prospect.
Valentina Bella (FR)
Second foal, dam, placed at 6.5f in France, out of winner up to 1¼m (including at 2 yrs) Princess Charm. Cemented excellent start to her career when supplementing her debut success at Bordeaux in listed company at Vichy a month ago. They were both over 5f but this French raider needs considering.
What A Girl Wants (IRE)
Consistent rather than progressive form to be placed all 3 starts in Ireland for Robson De Aguiar. That isn't the sort of profile you need for this race and she's since moved yards.
