Trojan Soldier completed a hat-trick at this course 30 days ago and looks sure to make another bold bid, whilst Secret Force is interesting tackling this sort of trip for the first time on the Flat.

Enjoyed a very productive campaign in 2025, winning 7 times upon an intense schedule. Form mixed more recently and, though he's now fallen to his last winning mark, he arrives on the back of a particularly poor effort at Goodwood last month.
Anzac Day (IRE)
Hasn't kicked on since returning from lengthy absence at Kempton in April 2025 and has plenty to prove on the back of a modest hurdles effort.
Trojan Soldier
Has raised his game since cheekpieces were applied, completing a hat-trick at this course last month when beating Sea of Kings by 4¼ lengths. Raised another 5 lb but remains unexposed as a stayer and looks sure to make a bold bid for a 4-timer.
Secret Force (IRE)
Won 11f handicap at Listowel for Gavin Cromwell in 2025 and has made frame in similar events on both outings for current yard. Won over hurdles for previous connections so should handle the step up in trip and first-time visor replaces cheekpieces worn at York on previous start. Of interest.
Isle Of Sark (USA)
Won over hurdles at Sedgefield in October for Mickey Bowen. Hasn't offered much for his new connections, both in this sphere and back over hurdles, looking an increasingly hard ride when third at Newton Abbot earlier this month. On a good mark but hard to weigh up.
Treasure Islands
Improved when making all in 2m handicap at Ripon in April and has backed that effort up with 2 placed efforts since, 3¼ lengths third of 13 to Mountain Road in a stronger handicap at Thirsk on latest. Tactically versatile and going the right way. He's one to be very interested in.
