Cases can be made for a few of these but KEEP AN EYE ON IT continues to go from strength to strength and with the booking of Tom Marquand catching the eye, he's fancied to get off the mark at the expense of Masaban, who has made a positive start for current connections and remains capable of better still. Last-time-out winner Ravishing Beauty rounds off the shortlist.

Timeform Comments

Amidst The Chaos (IRE)
Back-to-back winner at Doncaster/Musselburgh last summer. Better than bare result first 3 starts this season and confirmed himself in top form when second of 8 at latter track (9f, good to firm) just over a fortnight ago. First-time cheekpieces applied to try eke out that bit extra.
Ravishing Beauty
Won handicaps over C&D and Nottingham last summer but form tailed off in the autumn. Gradually working her way back this year and resumed winning ways in 9-runner event at Carlisle (1m, good to soft) just under a fortnight ago. 3 lb nudge fair so folly to ignore.
Gennadius
Finally off the mark in maiden company at Chelmsford over 1m in January and best effort since when runner up at Lingfield in February. Hasn't scaled same heights all 4 starts since the cheekpieces went on so best watched for now.
Mount King (IRE)
Three-time C&D winner, including twice around this time last year. Gradually working his way back this year but was below-par over C&D last month. 3 lb below last winning mark now but leap of faith needed to get involved.
Thats My Boy Luke
Pair of 1m Ripon wins last year but seemingly going the wrong way this season, last of 11 at Beverley (7.4f, good to firm) most recently. Handicapper eases his grip but needs to show plenty more before becoming of interest.
Masaban (IRE)
Promising ex-Irish gelding who was much improved when landing big gamble on handicap debut at Ripon (1m) early last month. All the rage in the betting but unable to follow up when third of 14 at Doncaster (1m, good) 8 days later and he remains with potential.
Keep An Eye On It
Went very close on 7f Southwell handicap debut in April and progressed again stepped up to 1m in stronger company when third of 10 in handicap at Musselburgh (1m, good) 10 weeks ago. Booking of Marquand catches the eye and he can make his presence felt.
Kiss For An Angel (IRE)
Shaped encouragingly when well-backed second in a Redcar nursery last November. Gelded over the winter and yet to prove he's trained on in a couple of handicaps this season.
