Timeform View

PREFER THE SISTER made an encouraging stable debut when runner-up at Yarmouth earlier this month, getting caught too far back, and she can build on that effort to double her tally. 3-time course winner Havana Mojito was only narrowly denied here last time and is feared most, ahead of the hat-trick seeking Dion Baker.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Amathus traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts: Daley T has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Aim For The Bull (IRE)
Off the mark at Southwell in February and also successful at Kempton the following month. Transferred his good form on all-weather back to turf when winning 11-runner handicap at this course (1m) 24 days ago by neck from Havana Mojito. Can give another good account.
Havana Mojito
All 3 career wins at this course and, in first-time blinkers, ran well when neck second of 11 to Aim For The Bull in handicap here (1m) 24 days ago. Remains 2 lb below last successful mark and can make his presence felt.
Dion Baker (IRE)
Took advantage of reduced mark when making all in handicap over this C&D in May. Followed up in 9-runner minor event at Bath (5.7f) 17 days ago and he's capable of another bold bid in his current form.
Bear To Dream (IRE)
Won twice last summer, over C&D on the first occasion (her fourth success at this venue). Ended 2025 with a couple of in-frame efforts at Lingfield, before shaping as if needing the run after 5 months off when sixth of 13 back at Lingfield (7.6f) in May.
Zu Run
Having dropped a long way in the weights since his C&D victory last spring, produced one of his better recent efforts (refitted with cheekpieces) when 2¾ lengths second of 7 to Dion Baker here 24 days ago. Task is now to build on that.
Prefer The Sister (IRE)
After 3 months off ahead of first run since leaving Matt Crawley, shaped promisingly when second of 8 in handicap at Yarmouth 11 days ago, left poorly placed after a slow start. Could be ready to return to winning ways for yard which does well with new recruits.
Amathus (IRE)
Not the easiest to catch right but won twice last year, with latest success over this C&D in September. Stepped up on this season's reappearance run when second at Bath (1m) in May, though wasn't in the same form there next time.
Oh So Audacious
Won 3 times here for Harry Eustace, including over C&D last summer. After 7 months off ahead of stable debut, probably needed the outing when down the field at Leicester in May. This run should reveal more back at this venue.
Henry Tudor
Opened his account in a 6f Chelmsford classified event in February. However, that remains a standout effort as he's found things tougher back in handicaps both starts since, ninth of 13 at this course (6f) last month.
Daley T (IRE)
Long-standing maiden but in first-time cheekpieces he ran better than for a while when a close third in 8-runner minor event at this course (5.3f)) 13 days ago. Needs to be able to back that up returned to a handicap.
Maury (IRE)
After 5 months off, showed improved form when opening account on the all-weather at Lingfield in March. However, has reverted to racing freely both starts since, well held back on turf at the same venue last time. Hood now given another try.
Bated Breeze (IRE)
Ended 2025 with a pair of third-place finishes in October, including over this C&D. Entitled to have needed the run after 7 months off when tenth of 13 here (6f) 24 days ago, though more needed if he's to gain a breakthrough victory.
