Timeform View

A wide-open maiden with REGAL DESIRE shading the vote given the potential she showed when second at Southwell on debut. Tamzan and Pepsea head the dangers.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Pepsea traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 25% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 3 starts: Tamzan traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Feliz Navidad
Mondialiste gelding. Dam unraced. Yard 2-7 with 3-y-o newcomers last 12 months.
Pepsea (IRE)
Showed plenty of ability when making odds-on winner pull out the stops at Thirsk (1m) on debut and built on that at the second attempt when fourth at Carlisle. Can make presence felt again.
Three No Trumps
Showed promise when third of 13 on 1m Kempton debut in November. Not at that level both starts this season but return to this trip could help.
Alterity
Bobby's Kitten half-sister to several winners, including smart 2-y-o 7f winner Ghurair. Stepped up on debut after 10 months off when third of 7 at Hamilton 4 weeks ago, no extra final 1f, and entitled to come on again.
Cherringham
Ulysses sister to 1¼m winner Mighty Quiet and half-sister to 2-y-o 7f winner Maurice Dancer and 1m winner Silent City. Dam lightly-raced half-sister to smart 7f-1½m winner Tiffany. Found wanting for know-how when fifth of 8 in maiden (13/2) at Lingfield (1¼m, heavy) on debut. Can do better.
Tamzan
Still winless after 8 runs but showed a bit more when making the frame back in handicaps at Windsor and Newmarket last 2 starts. Player back in a maiden.
Regal Desire (FR)
1,000 gns yearling, Masar filly. Half-sister to useful 9.4f winner Withering. Dam unraced half-sister to 5f winner Captain Dunne and 7f-1m winner Raadobarg (both smart). Cheap purchase but made a promising start when second in maiden at Southwell last month and she's entitled to build on that.
