Timeform View

BRUCE BANNER finds himself operating 3 lb below the mark he defied at Newcastle last season and, arriving on the back of a string of consistent efforts, he could be the answer with Jason Hart taking over in the saddle. Satyress, Lednikov and Jedhi Knight head up the dangers in a competitive affair.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Princess Vivi traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP 3 times on 4 of its last 5 starts: Dandy's Angel traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Bruce Banner (IRE)
Dual Flat/hurdles winner who confirmed his return to form when third over C&D in May and ran another solid race when fifth in Ladies Derby at Ripon 5 days ago. Can be competitive again in a refitted visor with Jason Hart taking over.
Lednikov
Ran out a wide-margin winner of a Southwell handicap (1¾m) in March before indifferent efforts on 2 of next 3 starts on all-weather. However, not disgraced on first turf outing of the year when fifth at Leicester (1½m, good) 10 days ago and his mark is steadily easing.
Jedhi Knight
Tasted success over 2m at Ffos Las during a consistent 2025 for Jedd O'Keeffe. Didn't take to hurdles in 2 runs for Harry Derham thereafter but proved he retains ability following a breathing operation/3 months off when fifth on stable debut at Newcastle 3 weeks ago. Could build on that.
Dandy's Angel (IRE)
6-time course winner who arrives on a losing run stretching back to last summer but wasn't disgraced when sixth of 10 in handicap here (1¼m, good to firm) 7 days ago. Steps back up in trip now and stable amongst the winners. Cheekpieces left off.
Princess Vivi
In the frame on her first 2 starts this season and bettered a lesser display at Wolverhampton when second of 7 in handicap at this course (8.5f) 4 weeks ago. Made quite hard work of that however, and she's not sure to be in the same form now upped significantly in trip.
Arch Legend
On a long losing run but finds himself on a career-low mark and best not judged on his reappearance Newcastle effort having gone off too quick in front. This promises to reveal more.
Satyress
Ran best race returning from 9 months off when fourth of 11 in handicap at Pontefract (1¼m, good) 2 weeks ago. Step up in trip looks a good move given how she shaped then and she's one to consider for good stable.
Sweet Cicely
Long-standing maiden who has offered little in 4 starts so far this season. Hard to fancy in a change of headgear.
