Timeform View

Salisbury winner STARLIGHT SAMI is going the right way and remains with few miles on the clock. He gets the nod in an open-looking handicap. White Ladder and Creative Queen head the list of dangers.

Timeform Comments

Signcastle City (IRE)
Back to winning ways at Chelmsford (7f) in February and ran right up to best when good second of 22 in handicap at York (7f, good, 9/1) 31 days ago. Merits consideration.
Noodle Mission (USA)
Made the frame twice on all-weather last year in what was a rather indifferent campaign and below form in both starts this season. Best watched.
Nakaaha
Course winner who has largely shaped well this term, latest when fifth of 11 in handicap at Ffos Las (1m, soft, 5/2) 19 days ago, unable to sustain effort. Can make presence felt.
Documenting
C&D winner but into the veteran stage now and finished well held at York 31 days ago. Makes limited appeal.
Ararat (IRE)
Winner of back-to-back 6f handicaps at Southwell in the autumn but not in the same form in 3 starts for current yard. Hard to fancy.
Havana Halo
Lightly-raced maiden who was below par when last seen at Southwell 8 months ago. Bit to prove on return here.
Creative Queen (USA)
Much improved in first-time blinkers when taking 4-runner novice at Yarmouth (6f, good to soft) 41 days ago and likely has more to offer on handicap debut here.
Aigeas (FR)
Won on debut at Deauville last October but rather gone backwards since and addition of hood failed to stop the slide at Chepstow 17 days ago. Cheekpieces now tried for first time.
Lahan Kingman (IRE)
Kingman filly who has been placed on all her 3 runs, second of 5 in all-weather maiden at Lingfield (6f) in April. Back up in trip with blinkers added for her handicap debut and likely capable of better.
Starlight Sami (IRE)
Built on promising return effort when winning 14-runner handicap at Salisbury (7f, good to soft) 31 days ago, finding extra. 3 lb rise fair and may be capable of better yet.
Bami (IRE)
Won a novice at Lingfield in November before good fourth in a handicap at Kempton when last seen in December, found wanting for a change of gear. May have more to offer this year but others look better treated.
Dakota Breeze (IRE)
Fair form at best in a trio of starts earlier this year. Sent handicapping now (gelded since last outing) and is worth monitoring in the market.
Trinculo
Posted fair form in both starts this term, latest when third of 4 in maiden at Windsor (6f, good to firm, 7/1) 29 days ago. Fairly treated on switch to handicapping and warrants respect.
Seeing Stars
Off the mark at Kempton (7f) in January and run creditably in handicaps since, latest when fourth of 10 at Wetherby (7f, firm) 19 days ago. Ought to go well again.
Sedgemoor (IRE)
Dual 6f winner at Newcastle earlier in the year but been a mixed bag since, posting creditable third at Haydock before disappointing effort at Doncaster last month. 2 lb out of the handicap. Others are more convincing.
White Ladder (IRE)
Ended juvenile campaign on the up for Archie Watson and made positive start for new yard this term, making the frame on return at Salisbury before credtable third of 14 in handicap (11/4) at Yarmouth (7f, good to soft) 13 days ago. Likely player.
