SOCIAL SPIRIT remains with potential having still looked green in the Woodcote at Epsom and is the one to beat back in a maiden. Mia Fantasia and Platinum Force rate the pick of the newcomers before market clues.

Timeform Comments

Mia Fantasia (IRE)
Foaled March 12. €40,000 yearling. Make Believe colt. Half-brother to 1m winner, out of a French 1½m winner. Capable of making his presence felt for stable enjoying plenty of juvenile success this year.
Parry Green
Foaled March 18. Massaat gelding. Unlikely sort to make a winning start given connections.
Platinum Force (IRE)
Foaled April 30. €21,000 foal, £35,000 yearling, €50,000 2-y-o. Blackbeard colt. Half-brother to winners between 5.7f and 1m, so breeding suggests this trip should be in range and he's respected if the market speaks in his favour.
Social Spirit
Promise both starts to date, finishing third in a race at Doncaster that is proving strong form and then fifth of 13 in a conditions race at Epsom 19 days ago, running green but keeping on to be nearest at the finish. Should be suited by this longer trip and makes plenty of appeal here.
Telegraphic
Foaled March 21. Kameko colt half-brother to 6f juvenile winner First of May and 5f winner Polka, with dam by high-class miler Soviet Song. Stable capable of readying one first time up so market needs watching.
The First Drop
Foaled February 11. 35,000 gns foal, 30,000 gns yearling. Lope Y Fernandez colt. Betting will guide but stable is at least in good form.
King Of Persia
Looked one for the longer term when seventh of 10 on debut in a maiden here 9 days ago, never on terms.
Ricky Punting (IRE)
Showed fair form when second of 6 in a maiden at Hamilton Park in May but only sixth of 9 in similar event at Pontefract as 11/4 favourite 33 days ago, possibly not coping with a third quick run. First-time cheekpieces reached for and progress looks required here.
Be More Ruthless
Foaled February 18. Rajasinghe filly. Half-sister to winners, out of a mare who scored as a 2-y-o at 5f and 6f. Stable not renowned for juvenile success and will likely need more time.
Mrs Mole (IRE)
Fourth of 10 on debut at Leicester over 7f 16 days ago, never a factor but offering something to work on. Can improve on that experience without threatening the principals.
Wells Fargo Stage
Showed only greenness when tenth of 15 in a maiden at Redcar in May and looks likely to need more time.
