NEON EYES pulled clear of the rest when just denied on her second start in a handicap at Gowran last time and she's taken to go one place better. Amrum is the obvious threat having landed a gamble on his handicap debut at Gowran, with Elusive Duke looking the pick of the older horses.

Timeform Comments

Doctor Grace (IRE)
Ended long losing run at Roscommon last month but ran badly at Gowran 12 days ago.
Derry Lad (IRE)
Further signs of decline this season so unlikely to be ending his losing run.
Dancing Steve (IRE)
Winner at Navan last summer but ended the season out of sorts. Questions to answer back from 9 months off.
Glendower
Hadn't shown a great deal in a handful of runs over hurdles for current connections but much more competitive back on the Flat last 2 starts and handicapper has given him a chance.
Killyclogher Rose (IRE)
Showed ability in maidens but improvement required if she's to defy this opening mark.
Casheldale Lass (IRE)
Won twice last summer fitted with cheekpieces (including over C&D) and back to form with reappearance under her belt when just denied at Leopardstown. Proved a disappointment at Fairyhouse since but cheekpieces are back on.
Ohmali (IRE)
Won at Gowran in September. All the better for return when second at Leopardstown but disappointed at Limerick since.
Elusive Duke (IRE)
Leopardstown winner last summer who proved all the better for return when just denied at Gowran 12 days ago. Player.
Forlio
Wide-margin winner at Navan in October but has struggled off revised mark since.
Anchors Away (IRE)
First form in maidens when third at Dundalk in January and backed that up at the second attempt in handicaps when fourth of 16 at Fairyhouse 4 weeks ago. That was his first start in 3 months so he's entitled to come on for that.
Rising Sky (IRE)
Belatedly off the mark at Dundalk in March with first-time blinkers and tongue strap combination presumably the catalyst but well held back on turf next 2 starts.
Oust
Improved switched to handicaps last 2 starts, no chance with winner when runner-up at Down Royal last month. Looks competitive on form.
I'm Flattered (IRE)
Well held in 3 maidens on the Flat in 2024. Winner over hurdles last summer but below par since.
Amrum
Half-brother to connections' very smart miler Siskin. Showed little in maidens but landed a bit of a gamble when making a winning handicap debut at Gowran 3 weeks ago, finding plenty to lead close home. Should go well again with headgear now applied.
Neon Eyes (IRE)
Improved for the step up in trip when just denied at Gowran 23 days ago. Remains unexposed and she's clearly up to winning soon.
Priorstown (IRE)
Signs of ability on debut at Navan. Well held both starts since but stable has good record with handicap debutants.
Jazz Forever (IRE)
Fifteen runs since last win in 2024 but he recorded a good ½-length third of 16 at Navan (13f) 17 days ago. RESERVE.
Cameclose (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden who made more of an impact dropped to a claimer when second at Ballinrobe on Monday. 7 lb out of the weights. RESERVE.
