FISCAL POLICY backed up his Pontefract win with a good C&D third last week and he makes most appeal again in tricky race. There were more encouraging signs from Change Sings last time out and he could prove very dangerous dropped into 0-80 company, whilst Angel Gabriel has some good 2-y-o form to his name and he starts out in handicaps from a workable mark after 6-month break.

Timeform Comments

Change Sings (IRE)
Failed to win in 2025 but made a promising return when third at Kempton in March and it was a bit more like it after a couple of below-par efforts when fifth of 12 in handicap at Windsor (6f, good to firm, 13/2) 10 days ago. Interesting to see whether he can build on that down in grade.
Sixtygeesbaby (IRE)
Fairly useful 6f scorer for Tom Clover in 2025. Has become a shade expensive to follow after a promising return and shaped as if amiss when last of 10 at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) 40 days ago, though it still remains relatively early days with a yard which tends to get best from similar types.
Fiscal Policy (IRE)
Ended long losing run at Pontefract earlier this month, a sound tempo bringing the best out of him. Shaped as if still in form racing on the opposite side of the track to the winner when third of 16 in handicap at this C&D (good to firm) 6 days ago and he should go well again.
Angel Gabriel (IRE)
Chased home a couple of useful rivals on his first 2 starts before landing the odds in a 5-runner novice at Lingfield (6f, all-weather) in December. Absent since but he's open to improvement stepping into handicap company having been gelded.
Secret History (IRE)
Progressive filly who supplemented January's novice win at Chelmsford by following up in 8-runner handicap at Wetherby (7f) in April. Ran creditably whilst shaping as if stretched by the trip when fourth of 8 at Carlisle (1m, good) 26 days ago. NON RUNNER.
Sierra Sands (IRE)
Catterick maiden winner on third and final start of 2-y-o campaign and returned with a good effort in 7f Newmarket handicap, giving way close home. Lost his action next time but quickly put that behind him dropped in trip when third of 8 at Hamilton (6f, firm) 29 days ago. Place claims again.
Fresh Fade (IRE)
Won 1 of his 11 starts in Ireland last year and has offered little in 2 starts so far for current connections.
Ice Cube (IRE)
Shaped encouragingly after 7 months off when third of 9 in handicap at Redcar (1m) in April, doing too much too soon. Similar comments apply for next run at Doncaster and though he didn't build on that promise at Goodwood (7f) last time, he's unexposed as a sprinter with hood now reapplied.
