Timeform View

CHEEKY CHESCA needs to shrug off her recent effort but she could get the run of things with a good-value claimer taking over. She sets just an ordinary standard, however, so the newcomers need monitoring in the betting, notably Chan Noir and Supreme Star.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Cheeky Chesca has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Beechwood Glory (IRE)
Foaled February 4. €10,000 yearling. Cotai Glory colt. First foal of a dam who won over 6f at two and is a sister to smart 5f/6f winner Happy Romance. Stable has enjoyed some juvenile success this year so he's worth a look in the betting.
Benefacta (IRE)
Showed ability despite not being seen to best effect either start to date, looking green on debut and never on an even keel after colliding with the rail early on last time. Should do better at some stage.
Chan Noir
Foaled May 3. 32,000 gns yearling. Blackbeard colt. Half-brother to 6f winner with dam a 2-y-o winner over 7f. Breeding suggests he'll be suited by this trip and, while his stable is yet to record a 2-y-o winner this year, he looks to be starting out in an ordinary affair so merits respect.
Crowned (IRE)
Showed some ability when third of 13 on debut in a maiden at Windsor over 5f 10 days ago, making progress out wide 2f out. Steps up to 6f here and is open to improvement.
Desert Outlaw (IRE)
Foaled May 1. €4,000 yearling, resold €5,000 yearling. Arizona gelding. Unlikely sort first time up.
Emirates Express (IRE)
Last both starts to date and is hard to fancy despite the step up in trip being likely to suit on breeding.
Koodini (IRE)
Showed improved form when second of 9 at Chester 13 days ago in a novice, though that was still modest form and he needs another step forward back on firmer ground to get off the mark.
Supreme Star (IRE)
Foaled May 8. €9,000 yearling, resold 4,000 gns yearling. Supremacy colt. Those that have run don't set too testing a standard so he's one to take seriously if market speaks in his favour.
Ten Year Stretch (IRE)
Seventh of 11 in a novice race at Salisbury on debut 16 days ago in heavy ground, making modest late gains. Needs to improve plenty for that experience.
Cheeky Chesca (IRE)
Ran well to finish second on successive starts at Redcar and Wetherby in May/June, but well below form when third of 6 at Hamilton 8 days ago over 5f. Looks to have a good form chance if back on track returned to 6f here.
