No shortage of chances in this sprint handicap with C&D winner WOOHOO narrowly selected to come out on top. Jim Goldie's mare looked an unlucky loser on her most recent start at Musselburgh, finishing to good effect having twice been forced to switch for a run and she holds definite claims. Fellow C&D winner Parisiac is thriving on a busy spell and is feared along with class-dropping Dyonisos. Gangsta Man is another in with a shout.

Timeform Comments

Eye Of Dubai
Regained the winning thread from 1 lb higher mark at Ripon in September and posted a good second in a big field at Doncaster thereafter. Stepped up on April's comeback run without threatening at Epsom 3 weeks ago and easier ground would likely suit ideally.
Tatterstall (IRE)
A dual 5f winner in 2024. Only seen twice last season (well below best) but proved he retains ability following further 8 months off when third in 10-runner handicap at Thirsk (5f) in May. Not discounted off same mark but does need to prove he can stand more regular racing.
Gangsta Man (IRE)
Twice a winner in Ireland last year and performed well on 2 of his 3 starts for new yard, staying on for fourth at Thirsk (6f) on his most recent start 25 days ago. Evidently effective at the minimum trip and type to win races this year.
Dyonisos (FR)
Yet to taste success for present yard but found only a well-treated sort too strong at Goodwood (5f) on his penultimate start in May. Could only manage a midfield effort in the Dash at Epsom (5f, soft) since but this return to calmer waters can see him to better effect.
Al Hussar
Resumed winning ways in determined fashion in 17-runner handicap at Thirsk (5f) in May, staying on to lead final strides. Poorly drawn when sixth of 10 at Chester (5f) but his revised mark demands more now in any case.
Parisiac (IRE)
Three-time winner in 2025 who resumed with success over C&D at the beginning of the month and found only one too good both starts since, latterly at Ayr (6f) 5 days ago. This looks a tougher assignment but he's evidently thriving on a busy spell.
Reigning Profit (IRE)
C&D winner who ran a solid race when second over C&D in May and back to something like that form when fourth at Pontefract (5f) 4 days ago, faring best of those held up. Lines up again operating 3 lb below last winning mark and a good pace to aim at will aid his cause.
Mon Na Slieve (IRE)
Twice a winner last season and was only just denied at Newcastle in March. However, consistency not really his strong suit and he finished 5 lengths adrift of Al Hussar when twelfth of 17 at Thirsk (5f) 25 days ago.
Woohoo (IRE)
C&D winner who resumed winning ways at Musselburgh (5f) in April and she comes here looking unlucky not to add to her tally back at that venue 3 weeks ago, just failing having been forced to switch twice for a run. Very much of interest on the back of that nudged up 1 lb.
