RUBY WEDDING was pitched into a strong race at Ascot on her handicap bow and looks worth giving another chance to given the promise of her reappearance. Jujubella shaped with more encouragement than previously this season here earlier this month and is interesting with headgear back on, whilst Geo also holds strong form claims if taking up her engagement here rather than at Carlisle.

Timeform Comments

Geo (IRE)
Back to her best for current yard with victory over 1m at Ayr in May and good efforts in defeat both starts since, chasing home a well-handicapped 3-y-o here (1m) 8 days ago. Not especially bred to benefit from this longer trip but yard's horses are often versatile. Declared Carlisle 3.30 Wednesday.
Jujubella (IRE)
Progressive when winning 4 times early last season. Yet to make an impact across 3 starts this year but she caught the eye in fifth when asked come from off the pace in a steadily-run 7-runner event here (13f, good) 3 weeks ago. On a handy mark with headgear back on.
Ruby Wedding
Sea The Moon filly who very much caught the eye when fourth on return/qualifying at Sandown (1¼m) in April and didn't seem to appreciate the steady gallop when sixth of 9 on handicap debut at Ascot (1¼m, good to firm) 47 days ago. Can still improve back down in grade.
Aussie Pearl (IRE)
Looked green but showed ability when third at Leicester on debut last year but not in the same form either start since, returning from 8 months when fourth of 5 in maiden (25/1) at this C&D (good) 15 days ago. Makes handicap debut.
