Timeform View

CAPTAIN CAIRNEY meets hat-trick seeker Bradbury on far more favourable terms than when they met over C&D just over a fortnight ago, so is taken to reverse the form and come out on top. Pacific Glory shaped well on his qualifying run and is likely to progress further now sent handicapping over a more suitable trip, with Fille Imbassee also considered.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Bradbury traded at a high of 2.96 and Betfair SP of 2.10 when winning last time, a race in which it raced towards the rear.

Timeform Comments

Bradbury (IRE)
Not straightforward but he did get off the mark in 1¼m Leicester handicap (good) earlier in the month, always in control despite wandering and flashing his tail under pressure. Went unpenalised for that and followed up at Wetherby but has more on his plate now from a 10 lb higher mark.
Pacific Glory
Shaped well when fourth of 6 in maiden at Catterick (7f, good to firm) 26 days ago, needing stiffer test. Significantly up in trip for handicap debut and further improvement should be forthcoming. 4
Zooter
Fair maiden who proved a disappointment when turned over at short priced in 1¼m handicap at Ffos Las (soft) last week, possibly unsuited by conditions. Bounce back called for.
Fille Imbassee
Ended her time with Marco Botti with breakthrough win at Lingfield in January and took a step back in the right direction when fourth of 5 in a C&D handicap (firm) last month, forced to switch approaching final 1f. Not dismissed from a 2 lb lower mark.
Baron Wagstaff
Showed a bit at Kempton on debut in March but has been below that form on both subsequent outings. Back up in trip for handicap debut.
Captain Cairney
Nursery winner who ran well after 7 months off (gelded in interim) when second of 7 to Bradbury in handicap at this C&D (good) 17 days ago, sticking to his task. Meets that rival on far more favourable terms this time and is fancied to reverse the form.
