Timeform View

Quite a competitive fillies' handicap. The form of POLKA BLUE's latest win has been boosted and she's taken to defy the handicapper again and complete a hat-trick. Lara Antipova is open to improvement now handicapping and heads the dangers along with Brisk Symphony and C&D specialist Angel Shared.

Timeform Comments

Angel Shared
Rattled off a C&D hat-trick last summer (all good to firm), including this race. Two good efforts at Bath this spring and the type to bounce back from lesser effort in listed company at Haydock last time.
Shallow
Prominent racer who has been in decent form since equipped with cheekpieces, finishing a good third of 12 in 6f York handicap a fortnight ago. No reason why she won't give her running again.
Brisk Symphony (IRE)
Dual scorer last season who has returned with good runner-up efforts in 7f handicaps at Yarmouth (good to firm) and Lingfield (all-weather) this spring. Ought to go well again.
Powdering (IRE)
Fairly useful handicapper. Hasn't been at best in recent starts but her mark has dipped as a result and the Michael Herrington stable is going well in general.
Eskimo Pie (IRE)
Fairly useful filly. Showed she's trained on when third on 1m Kempton reappearance but needs to shrug off 2 lesser runs since.
Lara Antipova
Off the mark at third time of asking in 5-runner maiden at Lingfield (6f, all-weather) in April. Did that comfortably and should have more to offer in handicaps.
There's A Chance (IRE)
Built on encouraging Newcastle reappearance with win in 6f Haydock handicap (soft) 36 days ago. That form is solid and ought to remain competitive after a 5 lb rise.
Polka Blue (IRE)
On a hat-trick after wins at Leicester (6f, firm) and Lingfield (7f, all-weather) in recent weeks. Overcame a positional bias at the latter track in a race which has thrown up winners. A further 4 lb rise doesn't look enough to stop her.
