If MARENGO STORM doesn't give any issues at the start this time he's probably the one to beat as his first 3 outings suggest he has the makings of a useful handicapper.

Bolted up in 6f Windsor novice last June. Progress stalled after but he reacted well to a first-time blinkers and tongue tie combination when third of 10 in 6f Windsor handicap 25 days ago. Only the tongue tie remains now returning to 7f.
Marengo Storm
Confirmed debut promise when a smooth winner of 6f Kempton maiden in May. Good second of 14 on 6f Windsor handicap debut 5 weeks ago. Short-priced favourite when withdrawn after refusing to enter stalls on an intended outing at Kempton since. First attempt at 7f. The one to beat if behaving himself.
Hardy's Hero
Dual winner last term. Reappeared with a good second of 13 to Startled in 7f handicap on the Rowley course here in April. Only a respectable third when sent off at 5/4 at Lingfield 7 weeks ago but a position furthest away from the rail may not have helped. Remains of interest in handicaps.
