Timeform View

VICTORIA MILANO encouragingly built on her penultimate Uttoxeter third when finding only an unexposed sort too strong on her most recent outing at Bangor 5 weeks ago. She earns the vote to go one place better from what rates an exploitable mark. Top weight Fair Damsel was an encouraging fifth in a stronger race at Wexford 6 weeks ago and she's feared if building on that. In-form mare Parish Star is another who commands respect.

Timeform Comments

Fair Damsel (IRE)
Largely disappointing since landing a Killarney maiden hurdle back in 2024 but did show more than on stable debut without being seen to best effect when fifth in mares' hurdle at Wexford (2½m) 6 weeks ago. Remains lightly raced in handicaps and this less competitive than her latest assignment.
Victoria Milano (IRE)
Dual 2m/2m5f hurdles winner in 2023/24 for Alastair Ralph. Largely disappointing thereafter but dropped a fair way in the weights as a result and built on her Uttoxeter third when finding only an unexposed sort too strong at Bangor (23f) 5 weeks ago. Very interesting contender.
Belles Benefit (IRE)
Scored at Stratford in September but unable to replicate that in 3 starts thereafter last year, eighth of 16 in handicap hurdle at Huntingdon (25f) in November. Has gone well fresh previously though, so one to note if market speaks in her favour from reduced mark.
Blackwater Lilly
On a long losing run and she failed to build on Newton Abbot fourth for her new yard when a tailed-off last of 4 in handicap hurdle at Fakenham (2m) 26 days ago. Usual cheekpieces quickly go back on, but she's something to prove up in trip.
Gerrys Wish (IRE)
Much more like it when knocking firmly at the door in 3m handicaps at Perth/Galway last summer. Last month's Sligo reappearance has to go down as disappointing with that in mind but possible she'll strip fitter and leading stable's runners always command respect.
Turkey And Ham (IRE)
Career best when opening her account in 15-runner handicap at Kilbeggan (2¼m, good) last spring. Shaped as if better for the run after 12 months off when sixth in mares handicap at Tramore in April and feasible to think she will step forward here with cheekpieces now added.
Parish Star (IRE)
Improver for current yard, winning back-to-back handicaps at Newcastle/Southwell earlier this year. Good placed efforts on 2 of her 3 starts since, going close to adding to her tally at Market Rasen (21f) 4 weeks ago. Live player once more
Forest Spirit (IRE)
Fair performer on the Flat who is steadily going the right way over hurdles, backing up her previous best with cheekpieces added when second at Ffos Las (2½m, good to soft) 37 days ago. Does need to confirm her stamina for this 2f longer trip now, though.
Alvesta
Belatedly cashed in on a falling mark away from soft ground when getting on top in the dying strides in 13-runner selling handicap here (17f) last month. Joined local yard for 16,000 gns thereafter and whilst she remains fairly treated up 4 lb, she wouldn't be certain to stay this longer trip.
Masonbrook Meadow (IRE)
Finally off the mark in first-time cheekpieces at Exeter (16.7f) in October and posted best effort since over longest trip she's faced when second at Fakenham (23f) in May. However, bounce back called for having disappointed at Stratford since.
