Timeform View

CALLIANASSA goes particularly well here and won this race 12 months ago so she looks primed for another big effort after running creditably at Ascot. Her stablemate, Kanishka may prove her biggest danger, while Victory Ace merits consideration back on all-weather for her in-form yard.

Harry The Rogue has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP 3 times on its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Callianassa (IRE)
Won this race last year and all 4 of her career wins have been on all-weather, with 3 over C&D. Turned in a creditable effort when seventh of 24 at Ascot 9 days ago and holds leading claims back down in grade if this doesn't come too soon.
Harry The Rogue (IRE)
Second of 12 over C&D in March but hasn't built on that, finishing mid-field at best at York the last twice. Capable of bouncing back returned to all-weather.
Sailthisshipalone
Won at Pontefract on stable debut on soft going in April and held form when in frame last 2 outings. Well capable of figuring from this mark but is yet to prove himself effective on all-weather from limited attempts.
Racingbreaks Ryder (IRE)
Has slipped below last winning mark but failed to meet market expectations on return from a 7-month break when eighth of 10 in a handicap at Chepstow 20 days ago over 7f. Could strip fitter for that and make an impact back up to 1m and returned to all-weather.
Bowood
Won twice over C&D last autumn but has struggled since taking a hike in the weights, though wasn't seen to best effect when fifth of 5 at Doncaster after 4 months off 21 days ago, making ground too quickly. Returns to favoured venue.
Montezin
Off the mark at this course in November and produced creditable fourth of 11 in a handicap at Doncaster 20 days ago in first-time cheekpieces. Steps up in trip and returns to all-weather with a less-exposed look to him than most of these.
Intrusively
Not won since 2024 but showed more from easing mark when fourth at Nottingham in May. Failed to back that up next time, however, and he's not the easiest to predict back on all-weather, though a slight ease in grade should help.
They All Know Me
Off the mark on soft going at Carlisle (7f) in May and can have run overlooked when only eighth of 12 in a handicap at Doncaster 12 days ago, not getting a clear run coming from a long way back. Back up in trip and not without hope granted a strong pace to suit his style.
Stanage
Perhaps needed the run when seventh of 15 in a handicap at Doncaster after 5 months off in March. Returns after further 89 days off here, though, and has questions to answer back on all-weather despite easing mark.
Jazzy Baby
Held form well on all-weather at Kempton earlier this year but last 2 efforts have been poor, the latest making turf debut on heavy going. Return to this surface should suit so not without hope if bouncing back.
Kanishka (IRE)
Proving reliable this year and ran well when third of 8 at Carlisle in a handicap 27 days ago, showing more zest under a change of tactics. Now returns to the scene of his win eased slightly in grade and he looks one to take seriously.
Victory Ace
Off the mark at Lingfield (7f) in April on handicap debut, then second at Kempton over this trip in May. Poor sixth of 7 in a handicap on turf at Musselburgh 20 days ago but he's the least exposed of these and it could be that all-weather is his niche.
Asian Journey (IRE)
Off the mark at Wolverhampton 25 days ago and ran at least as well when second of 11 at the same course 10 days ago. The form of those races is working out relatively well but he hasn't always looked straightforward and this is a much higher grade.
Chuzzlewit
More like it when second of 12 over C&D 24 days ago, bouncing back from dull displays after a break, though he's now 25 runs without success and isn't certain to be in the same form.
