Timeform View

DIAMOND RAIN won this race 12 months ago and has since been placed in Group 1s in North America so ticks all the boxes required here. Dreamasar is progressing at a rate of knots so could be the biggest threat, while Sky Safari and Botagoz also need considering.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Diamond Rain traded at a low of 2.02 and Betfair SP of 4.59 when losing last time, a race in which it raced in mid-field.

Timeform Comments

Sky Safari
Smart sort with 6 wins from 7 starts on speed-favouring all-weather tracks, including a Group 3 at Lingfield in February. Not seen to best effect in Group 2 on turf last time and will be suited by the switch back to today's surface, though likely to face a different test on this stiffer track.
Alla Stella
Excellent third of 6 in a listed race at Nottingham in April on return from a 19-month absence but may have bounced when only sixth of 11 at Dortmund in May. Should be suited by this step back up in trip and she won her previous all-weather outing, but this demands further progress.
Ashariba (FR)
Won a listed race at Saint-Cloud in October and returned after 7 months off with respectable second of 9 in a similar event at Le Lion-D'Angers 43 days ago. Stable in red-hot form but this looks a significantly stronger race than she's contested previously.
Diamond Rain
Won this race last year and subsequently placed in Group 1s in North America final couple of outings in 2025. Respectable third of 4 in a Group 2 at York in May when yard wasn't firing on all cylinders and this looks an ideal opportunity for her to resume winning ways.
Dreamasar (IRE)
Progressive filly who has won both starts since stepping up in trip this year, including a listed race at Haydock in May. Faces another hike in grade here but won her previous all-weather outing and this company may not prove beyond her given her upward trajectory.
Uluru (IRE)
Won 1½m listed race for Joseph O'Brien at Limerick last June but has struggled since, including on both outings since joining this yard. Looks up against it switched to all-weather.
Botagoz (IRE)
Won first 2 starts, including when making debut on all-weather at Kempton in December, then shaped well when third of 7 in a listed race at York in May, running on late. Progress required upped in grade but she's crying out for this longer trip and looks a likely improver.
