Timeform View

Although PREVALENCE was a little disappointing here last time her reappearance promise is still fresh in the memory and she's given another chance with Colin Keane back in the saddle for the first time since her maiden win last autumn. Chester Nimitz has had excuses for his 2 defeat this season and heads the many possible dangers along with Liberate and Andy Slattery pair Highbury See See and Therewillbeglory.

Timeform Comments

Tachos (IRE)
Leopardstown winner at the start of last season but well held both starts this year. Tongue strap back on.
Blues Emperor (IRE)
C&D winner. Eleven runs since last win in 2025. Underperformed again when sixth of 9 in handicap at Down Royal (7f, soft, 9/2) 7 days ago. A change of headgear (first-time blinkers for cheekpieces) needs to have a positive effect.
Summer Snow (IRE)
Three-time winner in 2025 but operating below her best so far this year. Back on a good mark but need to see more.
Therewillbeglory (IRE)
Fair maiden. Creditable third of 12 in maiden at Dundalk (10.7f) on reappearance 31 days ago. Back down in trip. Visor on first time now handicapping. Less exposed than most of these.
Banner Beauty (IRE)
Respectable tenth of 19 on C&D reappearance (good to firm) 33 days ago. Likely to be sharper now.
Brewing
Fifteen runs since last win in 2025. 12/1, respectable fourth of 8 in handicap at Cork (7f, soft) 38 days ago, left poorly placed. Dylan Browne McMonagle takes the ride.
Thyer
Winner in Britain earlier in career but has struggled on all 4 outings for this yard.
Calm The Jets
Debut winner on all-weather at the beginning of 2025 but has failed to make a significant impact in turf handicaps since returning from an absence.
Chester Nimitz (IRE)
Maiden winner for Noel Meade last autumn. Not seen to best effect in handicaps at Leopardstown and Roscommon for new yard this spring. Not one to give up on.
Highbury See See (IRE)
C&D winner. 9/2, creditable third of 9 in handicap at Limerick (1m, good to soft) 16 days ago, never nearer. One of 2 solid contenders for Andy Slattery.
Prevalence
Value for extra when winning 7f maiden at Dundalk last November. Shaped well and looked ahead of her mark when 1¼ lengths third of 12 on 7f course reappearance. A lesser effort has followed over C&D but she remains one to be positive about.
Spanish Rising (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden. 10/1, twelfth of 16 in handicap at Gowran (1½m, good) 25 days ago. Significantly back down in trip.
Majestic King (IRE)
Improved when winning at Gowran in May and just as good when second of 14 in handicap at Ballinrobe (9.6f, good) just 3 days later. A lesser run at Leopardstown since needs forgiving but Oisin Murphy has been booked.
Neo Smart (IRE)
Showed a good attitude to land 13-runner Dundalk handicap in February. Not troubled the judge since but latest seventh of 19 over C&D (good to firm) was respectable, not ideally placed.
No More Porter (IRE)
C&D winner. Twenty one runs since last win in 2024. Creditable third on C&D reappearance but has run poorly at Leopardstown since.
Usuario Amigo
Just the one decent effort since joining this yard and that came almost a year ago.
Liberate
First sign of promise for this yard when fifth of 19 over C&D (good to firm) 33 days ago, running on. Player if she can build on that.
Nautic Star (IRE)
Thrice-raced maiden. Second of 11 in maiden at Dundalk (7f, 11/4) 31 days ago. Makes handicap debut. Respected as an unexposed sort.
Tofino (IRE)
C&D winner. Creditable second of 6 in handicap (11/2) at Limerick (1m, heavy) 7 days ago. Looks competitive on form.
Albion Power (IRE)
Only ninth of 19 over C&D (good to firm) last time and seems better on all-weather.
Liberation Date
Won a maiden at Dundalk (7f) in December and dispelled a lesser effort following 13 weeks off when a creditable sixth of 12 in handicap at this C&D (good to firm) 33 days ago. Billy Lee does the steering.
Chapel Lane (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden who posted a creditable sixth of 12 in handicap at Down Royal (10.5f, good) on reappearance 28 days ago. Back down in trip. Visor back on.
