Timeform View

ZIGAZIG AH made a bold bid at Lingfield earlier this month and is fancied to get off the mark second time up. William Haggas' debutant Lady Rosalind looks interesting in a weak race, especially if supported, while Rocsane and Jazzy Blue both remain capable of better.

Timeform Comments

Birkacre Brow
Didn't show all that much when fourth of 7 on debut at Redcar (5f). May benefit from that experience/the step to 6f, however, she's probably one for the longer term.
Consultation
Wasn't seen to best effect when fifth of 6 on debut at Wolverhampton and while that form has some substance, she could only run to a similar level when third in an ordinary novice at Pontefract (6f) subsequently.
Crown Velocity
Foaled March 3. 20,000 gns yearling, Ardad filly. Dam unraced half-sister to useful 7f winner Dandhu. Betting usually a good guide for stable's newcomers, though she may be the second string behind Jazzy Blue.
Decem Carolinae
Foaled March 26. £21,000 yearling, Showcasing filly. Half-sister to 5f winner Sweet Carolina. Dam, 7f-8.6f winner, half-sister to useful 1¼m-1¾m winner (stayed 2½m) Totalize. More likely to be one for down the line.
Honeymoon Bear (IRE)
Foaled March 29. 32,000 gns yearling, Kodi Bear filly. Half-sister to useful winner up to 7f Dark Thirty (2-y-o 6f winner) and 7f winner Sandy Craic. Dam winner up to 1¼m (2-y-o 7f winner). Bred to make an impact as a juvenile, though stable isn't a frequent source of debut winners.
Lady Rosalind
Foaled March 21. 38,000 gns yearling, Starman filly. Sister to useful 6f winner Soul Love and half-sister to smart 7f-8.3f winner Excellent Believe. Dam 2-y-o 5f winner. Newcomer from excellent yard who makes plenty of appeal on paper, and she has to be high on the shortlist in a weak maiden.
Romidijo
Ardad filly who looks to have some quirks and while below the form of her Chepstow third when down the field in the Woodcote at Epsom last time, she does at least have her sights lowered.
Jazzy Blue (IRE)
Improved plenty for her debut experience when runner-up in a 7f Leicester maiden, pulling clear with another taking a big step forward. Drop back to 6f may help her to relax (took keen hold last time) and she remains capable of better.
Last Dandelion
Inexpensive purchase who has steadily progressed in 3 starts to date. Sent off at a much shorter price (9/1) than previously when third in a slowly-run Lingfield maiden latest, coming from a less-than-ideal position, and she cannot be discounted if building on that.
Miss U Gino
Has shown a bit without seeing out her race in either start to date, and she probably needs more time.
Roberts Legacy
Foaled March 9. 18,000 gns foal, 7,500 gns yearling, Space Blues filly. Closely related to 2-y-o 6f winner High Rubican. Dam unraced. Not an obvious type on paper, though couple of yard's newcomers have placed at bigger prices in recent weeks.
Rocsane (IRE)
Left her debut form well behind when third in an all-weather maiden at Lingfield, catching the eye with her finishing effort from an unpromising position, and she's one of the more likely types with further progress anticipated.
Zigazig Ah
Showed a fair bit of ability to finish a close second in an all-weather maiden on debut at Lingfield (6f), when only worn down in the final 50 yards. She's entitled to improve for that experience and looks the one to beat if doing so.
