CALAFRIO has a good record fresh and might be worth chancing for George Baker. Orange Emperor has been runner-up twice from this mark this year and may give her most to do.

Timeform Comments

Savannah Smiles (IRE)
Successful at Bath (5f, heavy) last autumn. Best run since when second of 10 back there (5.7f) on penultimate start. Shaped as if still in good form when third of 7 at Chepstow (5f, good) 12 days ago.
Orange Emperor (IRE)
Fair maiden who has been runner-up twice in handicaps this year, including over 7f at Salisbury (good) 13 days ago. Should be as effective back at 6f.
Calafrio
Back from a 4-month break to make a winning start for the George Baker yard at Kempton (6f) last November. Didn't reproduce that level in 2 subsequent starts last winter but given a break since and fresh is often the best time to catch her.
Blindfold Games (IRE)
Maiden who ran her best race on turf when fifth of 14 in a handicap at Yarmouth (7f) this month. Failed to back it up when only eighth at Windsor on Monday and first-time cheekpieces worn there are quickly discarded.
My Dad Tom (IRE)
Fair maiden. Below-par sixth on both outings this year but he did at least settle better at Windsor last time and it's possible he'll come on for the run again.
