Timeform View

A promising second on debut, this looks an excellent opportunity for DIVINE WHISPER to go one better, while Nascent Star can prove best of the trio who were closely matched at Nottingham earlier this month.

Timeform Comments

Blondie Larry (IRE)
€50,000 Showcasing colt who offered something to work with when fifth behind Wolf's Gallop/Nascent Star on debut at Nottingham and while entitled to do better, he's bumping into a potentially good prospect here.
Trust Yourself (IRE)
Showed little in a couple of 6f novices to date and is probably one for low-grade nurseries.
Wolf's Gallop
Took a step forward when third in a fair Nottingham novice (soft) second time up, finishing ahead of a couple of reopposing rivals, though he did have an experience edge on that occasion.
Cash Flow Boy
Foaled February 23. Ten Sovereigns gelding. Dam, unraced, closely related to smart 1m-1¼m winner Rawdaa out of useful winner up to 8.3f (2-y-o 6f/7f winner) Lady Lahar. Yard has had a couple of winners this week but this debutant is probably one for the longer term.
Nascent Star
Starman colt who was sent off favourite when a promising fourth (neck behind Wolf's Gallop) on debut at Nottingham, though wasn't given anything like a hard time and with improvement expected, he may well reverse that form.
Seathegulls
Gambled on/shaped better than the bare result in the Brocklesby but didn't shape with the same promise second time up following 8 weeks off (gelded and had breathing operation in the interim), finishing a well-held fourth of 5 in a Goodwood maiden.
Drum Major (IRE)
Fared little better than previously when held in first-time cheekpieces at Wolverhampton on his latest start and will be better off in handicaps.
Divine Whisper
Produced a promising first effort when running an odds-on favourite with experience close at York. That form (underpinned by some notable sectionals) sets a clear standard, and she should get off the mark at the second attempt.
