Timeform View

RULER TIME has been knocking on the door and can deservedly break his maiden. Gonna Fly will need to improve for the longer trip, but that's wholly possible.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Ruler Of Time traded at a low of 1.82 and Betfair SP of 1.78 when losing last time, a race in which it raced prominently.

Timeform Comments

Peace And Quiet
Well held in a pair of 1m novices (latterly at this course). Longer trip is more in-keeping with his pedigree, however, he's unlikely to make an impact in novice company.
Gonna Fly (IRE)
Made an impressive winning start in a 1m Newbury novice (heavy) last October. Went backwards in the Greenham on return (held Dante/Derby entries at the time) and while he concedes weight to a fairly useful sort here, the significant step up in trip should see him in a much better light.
Ruler Of Time (USA)
$700,000 Not This Time gelding who found only subsequent Dewhurst winner too good on debut at Newbury last summer and has finished runner-up in 3 of his 4 starts since, latterly behind a useful one at Doncaster. 1¼m under these conditions should prove within range and he looks the one to beat.
Lunella (IRE)
€28,000 foal, 125,000 gns yearling, Lope Y Fernandez filly. Half-sister to several winners, including smart 1¼m-21.6f winner Stratum and 2-y-o 7f-1m winner Star Player. Dam 8.3f winner who stayed 1½m. Makes some appeal on pedigree but is probably one for another day. Wears hood for debut.
