BIG GOSSEY concedes weight all around here but the Charles O'Brien-trained stalwart should prove capable of doing so successfully if in the same form as when runner-up in a C&D Group 2 last month. Bodhi Bear is well worth his place at this level on the back of a useful effort to win a Navan handicap, whilst Tahcawin also merits respect after going close in the Lacken Stakes.

Likeable veteran who landed the listed Gladness over 7f here (heavy) in March for the second year in succession and again ran right up to his best when 2 lengths second of 10 to Comanche Brave in the Group 2 Greenlands Stakes at this C&D (good to firm, 18/1) 36 days ago. Has to be taken seriously.
Bodhi Bear (IRE)
Added a third win to his tally in 14-runner handicap here (5f, heavy) on reappearance in March and improved further dropped back to that trip when also producing a career best to score in a 7-runner handicap at Navan 3 weeks ago. Respected back up at 6f.
Tango Flare (IRE)
Won a 23-runner C&D handicap in September before finishing runner-up in a listed event at Naas. Showed a good attitude to score for the first time this year in a 7-runner minor event at Fairyhouse (6f, good) 23 days ago and should be competitive again back up in grade.
California Dreamer
Best effort when second in Irish 1000 Guineas last season and was back on track when winning a minor event at Dundalk on return. Ran as well as could be expected in the Lanwades Stud Stakes here (1m, good to firm) last month but recent tendency to miss the break is a concern back sprinting.
Fregada (IRE)
Highly tried since winning her maiden over C&D on debut almost 2 years ago and ran right up to best when sixth of 10 in the Greenlands Stakes here last month. Lacked the pace to cope back down at 5f at Cork 2 weeks ago and others are more persuasive despite step back up in trip.
Little Queenie (IRE)
Four-time Dundalk winner, including in December. Shaped as if better for the run when a creditable ½-length third of 7 to Tango Flare at Fairyhouse (6f, good) 23 days ago but going to need even more if she's to score at listed level.
Temperance (IRE)
Naas handicap winner in May 2025 but struggled in better races on her next 3 starts and looks out of her depth again returning from 11 months off in first-time cheekpieces.
Oh Cecelia (IRE)
Dual 5f scorer this spring before finishing a very good head second in Group 3 at Naas last month. Proved easy to back and shaped as if amiss when last of 8 in a Cork listed race 2 weeks ago, though, so bounce back is required.
Silk Braid (IRE)
Invincible Army filly who got off to a winning start in 12-runner C&D maiden in October and made a really promising return when 1¼ lengths second of 7 to Charles Darwin in listed race at Navan (6f, good, 15/2) 64 days ago. Open to improvement, though may end up proving better at 7f.
Tahcawin (IRE)
Improved dropped to a sprint trip when winning at Fairyhouse on penultimate start last season and has continued to progress this year, producing another career-best when coming from a poor position to finish a close third in the Lacken Stakes at Naas (6f, good to soft) 42 days ago. Respected.
