EDWARDTHENINTH did well under the circumstances to finally get off the mark at Newcastle 40 days ago and looks capable of following up on the back of a small rise. The Bay Warrior ran well when second at Leicester on a rare turf start and could figure if staying the longer trip, while The Craftymaster has won twice over C&D and holds place claims.

Not always looked keen this year but is better known for all-weather exploits so recent turf/jumps efforts are best ignored and he can be expected to make a better fist of things back over a C&D he's won twice at.
The Bay Warrior (IRE)
Good second of 9 in a handicap at Leicester 15 days ago on rare turf start. On a good mark and will be suited by this return to all-weather so he's likely to be bang there if lasting out the longer trip.
Four Fifty
Fair form early on last year but yet to win a handicap and went the wrong way towards the end of 2025 before starting this year with 2 tame efforts, including on stable debut last time. Needs big hike in trip to spark some progress.

Man Of Riddles (USA)
Tailed off in all 3 recent runs over hurdles. Returns to Flat where won over C&D in January 2024, but needs first-time blinkers to spark a major revival.
Ebendi (IRE)
Seems to retain little ability, looking flattered to get as close as he did last time, and he's easily passed over.
