This looks a good opportunity for BEELZEBUB to quickly follow up his recent Windsor success having avoided a penalty. Outer Edge can build on his reappearance back down in grade, while Tickettothestars should also be in the mix for the places.

Timeform Comments

Outer Edge
Sole success last season came at Wolverhampton. Turned in a creditable effort on return when fifth at Windsor (6f, good to firm) in May. Should come on for the run and is well treated at present.
Beelzebub (IRE)
Left David Loughnane and emphatically ended a long losing run from a lower turf mark in 11-runner handicap at Windsor (6f, good to firm) 7 days ago having been gambled on. Avoids a penalty for that success and is difficult to oppose.
In Denial
Good 1½ lengths third at Nottingham in April before finishing down the field at Lingfield last month. Consistency hasn't been her strongest suit this season, though has Billy Loughnane back in the saddle.
Tickettothestars (IRE)
Justified support to get off the mark in a handicap at Nottingham in April and ran well when second at Lingfield the following month. Wasn't seen to best effect at Bath 24 days ago and may well bounce back in this smaller field.
Lieutenant Sir
Qualified for handicaps with 3 quick runs over 5f on all-weather at the end of 2025 and was much improved on return on handicap debut at Brighton (6f, good) 20 days ago. All the more interesting if the market speaks in his favour this time.
Jackie Brown (IRE)
Creditable efforts when placed at Dundalk in the winter for A. J. Martin. 5/2, failed to meet expectations when fifth of 9 in classified race at Bath (5.7f, good to firm) on yard debut 24 days ago. Minor role most likely.
