Timeform View

A chance is taken on DIVINE LIBRA, who has dipped to his lowest mark in a couple of years and is probably in better nick than this season's form figures might suggest. Fandom showed up well for a long way in the Wokingham and is second choice ahead of thriving course specialist Regal Envoy.

Timeform Comments

Invictus Gold (IRE)
Has drawn a blank since a 6f Newmarket success last May but he ran up to his very best in refitted cheekpieces when second of 15 at Epsom (6f, soft) 23 days ago. Claims if showing up in similar form.
El Bodon (IRE)
Landed back-to-back 6f handicaps at Kempton over the winter but made no more than a respectable return to turf when fifth of 9 at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) 8 weeks ago.
Fandom
Useful form in the US earlier in his career. Mixed record for a host of different yards recently but right back to best for Richard Hannon of late, landing 14-runner handicap at Thirsk (6f, good) last month. Led his group for a long way in the ultra-competitive Wokingham at Royal Ascot since.
Bolo Neighs (IRE)
Useful juvenile in 2024 who bounced back to best when defying a sliding mark at Ascot (6f, good to firm) in May. Not in the same form when eighth of 10 at Chester since but it wasn't run to suit his hold-up style.
Regal Envoy (IRE)
Landed his third 5f course success when seeing off 5 rivals under Oisin Murphy 3 weeks ago. Well on top at the finish and even a further 6 lb rise shouldn't prevent this thriving sort making another bold bid. Has won at 6f.
Coul Angel (IRE)
Four-time all-weather winner who opened his turf account at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) last autumn. Another good Newmarket effort when best of the rest behind Double Rush in April. Not seen to best effect when sixth to that same rival back there 8 weeks ago.
Cindy Lou Who
Thrived for current yard last season, notching her fourth success at Bath in September. Ran a cracker on her return when short-head second of 14 in 5f listed event there. Has failed to back up that improvement in handicaps since, albeit she wasn't seen to best effect in the Dash at Epsom last time.
Divine Libra (IRE)
Useful sort who hasn't been seen to best effect on both starts this year. His mark has come down as a result and he's one to consider.
King Of Light
Really found form in a cheekpieces and tongue tie combination for Stuart Williams last autumn, including 5f Haydock handicap win. Returned with a good second at Goodwood (5f) in May and not disgraced minus the headgear (left off again) in the Dash at Epsom since.
Rydale Frosty
C&D novice winner on good to firm last summer. Good fifth of 11 in handicap at Newmarket (6f, good to firm, 28/1) on reappearance 8 weeks ago. His mark demands improvement but no big surprise were he to find it.
Baldomero (IRE)
Ended 2025 on a high, adding 3 more all-weather victories to his tally. Back on form when third at Doncaster (5f, good to firm) this month but failed to build on it when seventh at Chester since. Cheekpieces go back on.
