Timeform View

An ultra-competitive sprint which can go the way of ROSATO, who fared best of those held up in a race where nothing really got involved from behind over C&D last month and the handicapper has dropped her another 3 lb since. Tawaazon stopped the slide returned to 5f when finishing runner-up at Naas last week so he looks a danger, with Monastere and Whatswrongnow another couple worth considering, too.

Timeform Comments

I'm Spartacus (IRE)
Justified support to notch a belated first win on turf over C&D last month. Done no favours by the draw and wasn't seen to best effect when sixth of 16 over C&D (good to soft) since. Stall 14 again could prove problematic.
Tawaazon (IRE)
Winner over 6f at Naas last spring. Dropped a long way in the weights this season and stopped the slide returned to 5f when second of 21 there last week. Needs to prove that wasn't a false dawn.
Rappell (IRE)
Capitalised on falling mark at Dundalk in September but has struggled for form this campaign, fourteenth of 20 at the Curragh (6.3f, good) 4 weeks ago. Hopes pinned on a first-time tongue tie doing the trick.
Lady Kelly (IRE)
Improved further down in grade on just second handicap start when third of 11 at Down Royal (7f, soft) 12 days ago, clear of rest. Remains unexposed back sprinting but the draw could be her undoing.
Rosato (IRE)
No impact all 3 starts this year, though shaped better than the bare result when seventh of 16 over C&D (good to soft) just under 3 weeks ago, faring best of those held up in a race where nothing really got involved from behind. Considered from a much-reduced mark.
Tara Na Ri (IRE)
Fared a bit better than of late when fifth of 14 in handicap at this course (1¼m, good) just under 4 weeks ago. Back sprinting for the first time since his debut and not totally ruled out.
Love Bomb (IRE)
Made a winning handicap debut at Down Royal in September but has struggled since, eighth of 12 at Gowran (7f, good to soft) most recently. Visor back on but she's not one to be interested in at present.
Whatswrongnow (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who followed a good run with a below-par one when eleventh of 21 at Naas (5f, good) last week. Type to bounce back quickly but it goes without saying others are preferred for win purposes.
Hero Of The Hour
Wasn't disgraced on first outing since leaving T. G. McCourt after 3 months off when fourth of 16 over C&D last month and similar form when twelfth of 21 at Naas (5f, good) last week. Handicapper rather generously drops him 3 lb but high draw is an issue.
Step Back In Time (IRE)
Ground-versatile sort who has won 4 times at Navan but struggling for form at present. Handicapper continues to relent as a result but big leap of faith required.
Mini Cotai (IRE)
Isn't the easiest of rides and remains a maiden but ran right up to her best when second of 7 at Down Royal (5f) last month. Being kept busy and ran one of lesser races at Naas since, however. First-time tongue tie goes on.
Monastere
Made more impact than previously ridden more positively when second of 15 in handicap over C&D (good to soft) just under 3 weeks ago. Needs to back that up.
Clarabell
Long-standing maiden who has moved yards since last seen in March 2025. Watching brief advised back sprinting.
Jackandthefox (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who stepped up on comeback run but was still someway short of his best when fifth of 15 over C&D (good to soft) recently. Well drawn to attack and fancied to be in the shake up.
Livingston Range (IRE)
Losing run now stands at 30 but has looked in good nick this season, probably remaining in form when fourteenth of 21 at Naas (5f, good) last week. Tongue tie quickly reapplied.
Run Forrest Run (IRE)
On long losing run and did no better for recent return/stable debut when eighth of 13 at Limerick (7f, good to soft) 3 weeks ago. Draw makes life even harder.
Glen Breeze (IRE)
Left previous efforts behind when runner-up in C&D handicap on penultimate start. Tongue tied and not in the same form when tenth of 15 over C&D (good to soft) just under 3 weeks ago and well worth another chance from a more favourable draw. Cheekpieces reapplied.
She's On The Ball (IRE)
Little impact in a trio of maidens (trained by Clive Cox on debut) but fared better than previously despite racing from 3 lb out of the handicap when fifth of 14 at Limerick (7f, good to soft) 3 weeks ago. Stall 18 may well scupper her chances here.
