KODIAK BREEZE was still very much in need of experience when scoring second time up at Redcar towards the end of May and he gets the nod over Possessive, who is still one to be positive about on the basis of his York debut success. Location Location may prove best of the rest.

Timeform Comments

Possessive
Lucky Vega colt. Looked a useful prospect when making a winning debut in 8-runner 6f novice at York in May but below expectations when mid-field in the Woodcote Stakes at Epsom next time. Quick turnaround there provides a potential excuse and he should get back on the up dropped in class.
Kodiak Breeze (IRE)
Shaped promisingly when second of 8 in 5f maiden here on debut and built on that effort to land a 15-runner event at Redcar (6f, good to firm, 11/10) 44 days ago, despite still proving decidedly green off the bridle. Should improve further.
Court Legend
Inns of Court gelding who was very green when tenth of 15 in seller at York (6f, good) on debut 19 days ago.
Dontlookanyfurther (IRE)
Foaled April 18. 13,000 gns yearling, £35,000 2-y-o, Space Traveller colt. Dam unraced half-sister to very smart winner up to 6f Starlust out of smart 5f/6f (including at 2 yrs) winner Beyond Desire. Bred to be speedy and will merit a betting check on debut.
Location Location
Not seen to best effect on both starts, paying for doing too much mid race when 6 lengths third of 6 at Hamilton (6f, good to firm) second one. Has a hood added now and remains capable of better.
Market Equities (IRE)
Foaled April 8. Bungle Inthejungle colt. Half-brother to several winners, including smart 7f-9f winner Third Time Lucky and useful winner up to 8.2f Baba O'Riley. Dam maiden (stayed 7f). Yard 3-24 with juvenile newcomers this season.
Mr Resdev
Foaled January 5. 30,000 gns foal, Ardad colt. Half-brother to useful winner up to 7f Diligent Resdev and 7f/1m winner Nammos. Dam unraced out of useful 8.5f winner Absolute Crackers. Strikes as more of a long-term prospect on paper.
Neverbeatdeswalker
Caturra gelding who weakened quickly and finished last of 7 in maiden at York (6f, good to firm) on debut 18 days ago,
Terryfying
Foaled March 7. 1,000 gns foal, Dream Ahead gelding. Dam unraced out of unraced half-sister to smart sprinter Glass Slippers, won Prix de l'Abbaye/Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint. Very cheap purchase given pedigree and yard's debutants are usually better for the run.
Desert Outlaw (IRE)
Foaled May 1. €4,000 yearling, resold €5,000 yearling, Arizona gelding. Brother to winner up to 1m Glyndwr and half-brother to 2-y-o 5f winner Mymovies and 10.4f winner Golden Money. Didn't cost very much but has juvenile winners in the pedigree.
Loveulongtime
Without Parole filly. 66/1, soon brushed aside when last of 7 in maiden at York (6f, good to firm) on debut 18 days ago, Hard to see her making an impact on that evidence.
Whisper Angel (IRE)
Foaled March 9. €32,000 yearling, Kodi Bear filly. Half-sister to several winners, including winner up to 1½m Feyha and 1m winner Corazon Blanco. A bit of a mixed bag on pedigree and market might prove best guide as to expectations.
