Timeform View

BARMYBLADE remains on a handy mark on the back of a good Ripon second 2 weeks ago and he can make use of a good draw. Ellie's de Vega, Desert Master and Stormy Peal are also shortlisted.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Desert Master traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP twice and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 3 of its last 5 starts: Barmyblade traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP 3 times on 4 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Stormy Pearl
Made an encouraging return when second from a reduced mark over C&D and was back to form after a couple of lesser efforts when third of 8 in handicap at Carlisle (6f, good, 11/4) 16 days ago, albeit not really helping her rider too much in the finish. Merits consideration.
Dolly's Delight (IRE)
Winner for Julie Camacho last summer and placed at Wolverhampton on stable debut in October. Stepped forward from this season's return when 3 lengths fifth of 12 Southwell in April, but not in the same form on her last 2 outings.
Night Emperor (IRE)
Proved he retains ability on second start back from lengthy absence when sixth of 12 at Redcar (6f) early last month and was better than the result having made his move on the far flank when fourth of 8 at Ripon (6f, good) 34 days ago. Not discounted.
Mrs Trump (IRE)
Won this last season prior to following up at Nottingham but hasn't fired in 3 starts this year and a bit to prove now despite reduced mark.
Barmyblade (IRE)
Won 3 times at up to 6f in 2025 (twice at Ripon) and returned to form with cheekpieces reapplied when runner-up in a 8-runner event at that track 2 weeks ago. Has to be taken seriously from unchanged mark.
Uncle Sam
Made the frame on several occasions for David Thompson at 6f/7f last year and fared better than might've been expected dropped to 5f on first start for owner's yard when runner-up in a Southwell minor event 13 days ago. Frame claims back in a handicap.
Mister Sky Blue (IRE)
Ran well from a reduced mark when second at Redcar on this season's return and having not been ideally placed there on his next start, he confirmed himself as still in good form when runner-up in a 7-runner race at Hamilton (6f) 3 weeks ago. Considered with first-time blinkers applied.
Hurstwood
Last win came at Nottingham in October. Now 4 lb below that winning mark but has done no more than tick over of late, finishing sixth of 16 in handicap (20/1) at Doncaster (6f, good to firm) 25 days ago. Yard have began to recapture some form, though, so not ruled out from reduced mark.
Golden Prosperity (IRE)
Resumed winning ways at Catterick (5f, good to firm) in April. Took a step back in the right direction despite not being particularly well positioned when fourth of 10 in handicap at Musselburgh (5f, good to firm) 9 days ago. Remains below last winning mark and has cheekpieces back on.
Thehunnebelllegacy
Made the frame 4 times as a juvenile and made an encouraging return when fifth of 8 in handicap (16/1) at Catterick (7f, good) last week. Entitled to come on from that.
Up The Monk
Responded well to first-time visor when scoring in classified company at Chelmsford in January but has proven too free on his last 2 outings and he's opposable having a rare turf outing after 102 days off.
Everydaysasaturday (IRE)
Failed to advance his form tried in blinkers when a never-nearer fifth of 12 in handicap at Newcastle (5f) 43 days ago and remains easy enough to take on despite stepping back up in trip.
Ellie's De Vega
Respectable in-frame efforts in handicaps at up to 6f on all 5 outings this year, weakening late on having gone freely in lead when third of 8 in handicap at Ayr (7f, good to soft) 11 days ago. Drop back to sprint trip will suit.
Desert Master
Three-time all-weather winner who came as close as he ever has to breaking his duck on turf when second of 16 at Doncaster (6f) at the start of May and shaped as if still in form from a poor draw when fourth at Wetherby last time, losing a couple of places with a late stumble. Blinkers back on.
Bishop's Glory (IRE)
Winner on all-weather in November and placed 4 times in January. Yet to really prove himself on turf, though, and recent Wetherby seventh doesn't suggest his turn is imminent.
Indy's Angel
Struggling for form at present and, while she's likely to benefit from the drop back in trip, remains hard to make a case for.
Hyrcanian (IRE)
Remains a maiden after 17 Flat runs. Last of 8 in handicap at Ripon (5f, good to firm, 22/1) 14 days ago, slowly away.
The Floors Munky
Has yet to match the modest form shown on debut last summer, his sole outing for Iain Jardine. Tongue strap and cheekpieces go on for first time.
Petes Diamond
Failed to improve for the fitting of a tongue tie when sixth of 10 in minor event at Wolverhampton (7f) 29 days ago. Hard to fancy.
