Cases can be made for several and at the likely prices it could be worth taking a chance on CAUSE I LIKE YOU, who shaped as if back in form in refitted cheekpieces when fifth at Ballinrobe recently and this return to 1m should be a big help. Dream Legend upped his game in the spring, and he looks a significant threat having been freshened up since, with Fontaine Khaled and Due In June rounding off the shortlist.

Timeform Comments

Wicklow Gap (IRE)
Made a promising return in a first-time tongue tie when fourth of 14 at Roscommon in May but not in the same form faced with much more testing conditions at Leopardstown (1m, soft) the following month. Bounce back needed.
Nosmokewithoutfire (IRE)
Tailed off all 3 starts in maidens. Needs this switch to a handicap to be transformative returned to 7f.
Dream Legend (IRE)
Has looked a difficult ride but didn't do anything wrong when springing a 40/1 surprise in C&D handicap (soft) in April. Ran at least as well when third at Gowran later that month and can continue his good work returning from a 10-week break.
Enthusiastically (IRE)
Switch to the all-weather worked the oracle when winning 7f nursery at Dundalk in November for Donnacha O'Brien, aided by first-time blinkers and hood. Ran creditably on debut for new yard when fourth there (1m) in March but tailed off back on turf last month. Headgear reapplied.
Fontaine Khaled (IRE)
Fared better dropped markedly in grade when third of 14 in handicap at Down Royal (7f, good) just under 5 weeks ago, staying on having been short of room over 1f out. Player if able to build on that here.
Caoilte (IRE)
Standout effort at Dundalk came when fifth on handicap bow in April but finished well beaten on turf debut at Fairyhouse (7f, good) 5 weeks ago. Hopes pinned on first-time blinkers/tongue tie working the oracle.
Due In June
Progressed gradually in maidens and shaped better than the bare result on handicap debut when ninth of 15 at Fairyhouse (6f, good to soft) just under 3 weeks ago, would have benefited from stronger handling. One to keep an eye on with Keane taking over in the plate.
Hugo Spritz (IRE)
Well held in 3 maidens. Cheekpieces go on for this handicap debut and needs to up his game significantly.
Stonyfalls (IRE)
Matched the pick of her juvenile efforts when sixth of 14 at Down Royal (7f) on handicap debut/reappearance but went backwards from that back there just under a fortnight ago. Handicapper drops her another couple.
Borora Aura (IRE)
Took a small step forward when third of 10 in a claimer at Ballinrobe in May but below that level in 2 handicaps since. Hood removed and first-time tongue tie goes on.
Bullet Bourbon (IRE)
Ran well after 4 months off when second at Dundalk in April but below that level since, though latest Down Royal effort easy to ignore (hampered over 2f out). Dropped another chunk by the handicapper so she's an interesting contender.
Beau Army (IRE)
Back-to-back 7f winner at Dundalk in November/January. Form has been mixed since but ran poorly from just out of the handicap last month.
Cause I Like You (IRE)
Maiden who shaped as if back in form in refitted cheekpieces when fifth of 14 at Ballinrobe (9.7f, good to soft) 10 days ago. Return to 1m a big help and she could be ready to break her duck.
Threebiggulps
Tailed off in 3 maidens/handicap. First-time cheekpieces needs to have a transformative effect.
Wedding Year (IRE)
Has only shown form on polytrack and struggled on turf the last twice, though was hampered at Ballinrobe (9.7f, good to soft) 10 days ago. First-time cheekpieces on.
Sayonara (IRE)
Maiden who has failed to beat a rival on his last 3 starts. Now upped markedly in trip (also gelded since last seen). RESERVE.
