Timeform View

Not as competitive as the numbers suggest and it is worth siding with C&D scorer DINAMINE to capitalise on a lenient mark having been given a short break since running twice in two days last month. Desert Of The Sea continues in good form and could emerge as the chief threat in his bid for a breakthrough success ahead of recent Limerick scorer Carvalhal.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Carvalhal traded at a high of 11.00 and Betfair SP of 5.35 when winning last time, a race in which it raced in mid-field.

Timeform Comments

Dynamic Force (IRE)
On a long losing run and a below-form seventh of 15 in handicap at Fairyhouse (6f) 20 days ago. Back up in trip.
Wellwhatshappenin (IRE)
Ended 2025 in good form (won at Dundalk in October). Off 4 months and cheekpieces on for first time when a fading thirteenth of 14 in handicap there (7f) in March. Back from another break.
Carvalhal (IRE)
Built on earlier promise to land 13-runner handicap at Limerick (1m) 13 days ago. Needs considering despite taking a 6 lb rise.
Rockbury Lad
C&D winner who comes here on the back of a respectable sixth of 14 in handicap at Leopardstown (9f) 14 days ago. Unreliable type overall however.
Roman Harry (IRE)
Overall strike rate is modest (2-41) and he was below form in 7f Curragh handicap on return to turf last time.
Dinamine (IRE)
Beat a couple of subsequent winners when doubling his tally over C&D last summer. Good third at Limerick (7f) in June but possibly found the run coming too quickly when ninth at Leopardstown (7f) 24 hours later. Could bounce back here off a handy mark after three-week break.
Captain Ciano (IRE)
Posted a solid fifth at Dundalk on return but has struggled since, retried in cheekpieces when ninth at Fairyhouse last time. Remains winless.
Secret Magician (IRE)
Twenty three runs since last win in 2024. Respectable seventh of 17 in handicap at Leopardstown (9f) 21 days ago. No forlorn hope having been eased 1 lb.
Virgil Tibbs (IRE)
Standout effort in maidens when sixth of 16 at Galway (1m) last summer but has struggled in handicaps since. Off 7 months ahead of his seasonal return.
Tortola (IRE)
Best run for Andrew Slattery when third of 10 in 7f claimer at Dundalk in December but below that level since, tongue strap back on when last of 12 there (1m) in February. Needs this yard switch to spark a resurgence.
Rampage (IRE)
Fifteen runs since his last win in 2025 and only eleventh of 15 in handicap at Leopardstown (9f) 14 days ago. Visor/tongue strap go back on.
Pinball Wizard (IRE)
On a losing sequence but shaped as if the run was needed after 7 months off when seventh of 16 in handicap at Gowran (1m) 31 days ago. Can take a step forward.
Micasso (IRE)
Yet to score and bled when twelfth of 14 in handicap at Dundalk (1m) 8 months ago. Needs to hit the ground running on his return.
Plastic Paddy
Thirteen runs since his last win in 2024. Pulled up in claiming hurdle at Wexford 36 days ago so has something to prove back in this sphere.
Desert Of The Sea (IRE)
Remains a maiden after 18 runs, going freely after 3 months off when seventh of 14 in handicap at Leopardstown (9f) 14 days ago. Can get back on track.
Mullacash Buzz (IRE)
Twenty three runs since his last win in 2023. Blinkered for first time when a below-form sixth of 14 in handicap at Roscommon 52 days ago. Cheekpieces go back on. RESERVE
Shelbourne Flyer (IRE)
Remains a maiden but runner-up in 18-runner handicap at Leopardstown last summer for John McConnell. Well supported but shaped as if needing the run after 7 months off for his new stable when sixth of 14 in 7f Limerick handicap 22 days ago. Can built on it now. RESERVE
Hastily
Unreliable sort who arrives out of sorts (including over hurdles) this season. Easy to look elsewhere. RESERVE
