Timeform View

KEVIN THE GREAT has races in him for Gavin Cromwell judged on his opening effort for the yard at Navan and, upped further in trip here, he can open his account. The consistent Jurality got off the mark at the same meeting and can go well again. Last year's second Maxwell Smart is also in good heart and is in the picture.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Mystic Rose traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP 3 times on 4 of its last 5 starts: Voice Of Northeast traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Kevin The Great (IRE)
Has tumbled down the weights and, fitted with a tongue tie after a break having left Jessica Harrington, ran creditably when fourth at Navan (13f) last month, having no issue with the distance. Could build on that and big shout over this even longer trip.
Desert Friend (IRE)
Snapped a losing run at Dundalk in March and went in again at Sligo (1¾m, good to soft) in May. Well beaten at Navan last time and needs to bounce back.
Jurality
Finally got off the mark in 14-runner handicap at Navan (13f) last month. Can go well again after a 6 lb rise.
Mystic Rose (IRE)
Yet to win but probably did a bit too much too soon under an aggressive ride when fifth to Jurality at Navan and her mark has dipped further. Tried with a tongue tie now.
Maxwell Smart (IRE)
Has been in good heart, running well over hurdles at Downpatrick last time. Goes well here (second in this last season) and one to consider.
Voice Of Northeast (IRE)
Returned with his best effort for this yard when fourth at Leopardstown (13f) 7 weeks ago but needs to build on that over an even longer trip now.
Numidia (IRE)
Is 3 lb below his last winning mark but hard to catch right and ran one of his lesser races at Down Royal a fortnight ago.
Al What (IRE)
Maiden who hasn't seen her races out the last twice but has run well under this apprentice before. Has stamina to prove.
Celestially (IRE)
Maiden who is proving consistent rather than progressive in handicaps and tackles a new trip here.
Miners Cabin (IRE)
Maiden who hasn't fared any better for the switch to handicaps the last twice, always behind tried over 2m at Down Royal last time.
Velvet And Vine (IRE)
Maiden who probably needed the run at Down Royal after 17 months off and this should reveal more now fitted with cheekpieces.
Bang Po (IRE)
On a long losing run but produced his best effort for a long time behind a couple of these at Navan (13f) 4 weeks ago. Needs to back that up over this even longer trip.
