Showed a good attitude when doubling tally at Newmarket (1¼m) last summer. Failed to build on reappearance fifth back at Newmarket when only fourth of 5 at Ripon (1½m, good) 35 days ago. Hopes pinned on a significant drop in trip.

Went winless in 2025 but signs that 2026 could be more productive when finishing second of 9 to a next-time-out winner on his C&D reappearance a fortnight ago. Obvious chance off the same mark in refitted cheekpieces.
Tactical Plan
Fifteen runs since last win in 2024. One of better efforts this season when respectable fourth of 12 in handicap at Brighton (1m, good) 23 days ago but no good thing to build on it based on recent record.
Man Of Desert
Has largely struggled in handicaps but his mark has come down as a result and stamina possibly stretched when last of 4 over 1¼m here 5 weeks ago. Tongue tie goes on and well treated if able to recapture the form he showed when placed in a C&D maiden last year.
Big Alex Walmsley
Seemed to show fair form when fourth in 7f Redcar maiden last August but hasn't come close to reproducing it in 3 subsequent handicap starts, including reappearance. Hood tried.
