With more still to offer over fences, he gets the vote ahead of the hat-trick seeking Get A Superstar, while Thehairyfella could be in the mix in a change of headgear.

The Flying Poet (IRE)
Hurdles winner here in the autumn and followed up on seasonal/chase debut over C&D in May, getting the better of Defying Gravity. Mixed round of jumping when second at Worcester last time, but could yet do better as he gains with experience (has had breathing operation) and switched to blinkers.
Cosmic Blizzard (IRE)
Went close to a breakthrough victory in novice handicap at Kelso in October but has lost his way in 4 subsequent outings. Now 4 lb lower than for his Kelso effort, though has enough to prove at present.
Get A Superstar (IRE)
After 7 months off, took advantage of career-low mark when gaining a first chase success in 4-runner handicap at Market Rasen (21f) in May. Followed up over 19f at the same course 20 days ago and, though probably suited by omitted fences last time, he commands respect.
Thehairyfella (IRE)
Not straightforward and benefited from a good ride when finally getting off the mark in a 3m Downpatrick handicap last summer. Yet to fire in 2 starts this season, down the field over the same C&D 19 days ago, but he's capable if on a going day now tried in blinkers.
Burgundy Man (FR)
Made a successful chasing debut over C&D on testing ground in October. Has gone the wrong way since, though, including back over hurdles here 25 days ago. Has had a breathing operation with tongue strap now added.
Defying Gravity
Placed over both sets of obstacles here during the spring, making a bad mistake at the last when second to The Flying Poet on chasing debut. However, he's played up in the preliminaries both outings since, reluctant to race back over hurdles at Cartmel last time.
Twp Stori
Dual winner over hurdles who was a disappointing favourite on chasing debut at Southwell in November. Has fared better in 2 starts this season, third of 10 in novice handicap at Uttoxeter on latest outing. More needed with cheekpieces back on.
