Timeform View

A host in with chances but an enterprising ride almost paid dividends for BAY OF DREAMS when third at Leopardstown last month so Ciaran Murphy's 4-y-o gets the nod to go a couple of places better. His main threat may emerge from veteran Comfort Line, who was in top form back in the spring and has been freshened up since. Zipster and Kitty Bear are another couple worth mentioning, too.

Timeform Comments

Lahore Da King (IRE)
C&D winner in April but has struggled from his revised mark in 3 subsequent starts.
Zipster (IRE)
Consistency is hard to knock, third of 8 in handicap at Leopardstown (9f, soft) back in April. Given respite from the assessor and has to be taken seriously if ready to roll.
Kitty Bear (IRE)
Has 3 wins to her name already this year, most recently at Roscommon in May. Easy to put a line through her latest Curragh effort (finished with running left having ended up closest to the far rail) so folly to discount.
Bucaneer's Spirit (IRE)
Took advantage of a much-reduced mark to land a gamble on return from 6 months off at Cork in April and respectable efforts off revised mark since, latest when fourth of 16 at Leopardstown (1m, good to firm) last month, left with too much to do. Respected.
Darkdeserthighway (IRE)
3 of his 4 wins have been at Dundalk and she was in good order there earlier in the year, coming from further back than those that finished around her when third of 14 when last seen in March. Not out of things from her lower turf mark.
Free Solo (IRE)
Yet to fire this season but did take a step back in the right direction when fifth of 15 at Leopardstown (7f, good to firm) last month. Handicapper eases his grip further.
Gotta Catch'em All (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who was left poorly placed on his latest run at Roscommon (1¼m), but will need a good gallop if he's to be seen to better effect over a markedly shorter trip.
Comfort Line (IRE)
Veteran who finally got his head back in front at Dundalk (1m) in April after several good efforts in defeat this season. Backed that up from his revised mark at the Curragh the following month and should remain competitive.
Bay Of Dreams (IRE)
Two wins in Britain for James Ferguson last year and shaped as if back in form when third of 16 at Leopardstown (1m, good to firm) just over a fortnight ago, an enterprising ride almost paying dividends. Fancied to be in the mix again.
Variance (IRE)
Little to shout about in 4 starts last year (trained by Dr Richard Newland & Jamie Insole on debut), the latest in claiming company. Makes handicap debut and needs to show plenty more.
Rockbury Lad
C&D winner who comes here on the back of a respectable sixth of 14 at Leopardstown (9f) just over a fortnight ago. Unreliable type overall however. Engaged 6.10 here Thursday.
Glamazon (IRE)
Off the mark in first-time cheekpieces in a maiden at Ballinrobe (9.5f) but struggled back in handicaps next 2 starts. Blinkers on for the first time but seemingly faces another struggle.
Imnotleavinyou (IRE)
Off the mark at Limerick last month and ran another good race when fifth in 18-runner handicap at Fairyhouse on Wednesday.
Smaoineamh Sile
On a long losing run and again showed little in first-time visor when last seen at Dundalk in January. Readily passed over.
Tariff (IRE)
Down the field in 4 starts for Adrian McGuinness last year. Makes turf debut for a new yard but hard to see him featuring from well out of the weights.
