Timeform View

Preference is for ENNOBLE, who showed promise in maidens last year and this is effectively his reappearance having stumbled and unseated his rider leaving the stalls at Navan in May. Sparky Sparky ran up to his best when finding one too good at Cork last month and he rates as the main threat. Focaccia can edge out Reposado for minor honours.

Timeform Comments

Reposado
Long-standing maiden who finished runner-up in a couple of huge-field handicaps at the Curragh this spring. Not so good the last twice (latest over 7f at Leopardstown) and his wait for a first success looks set to continue.
Banish Misfortune (IRE)
Unfortunately filly who was far too free on debut at Limerick (7f, soft) a fortnight ago. Quickly dropped to the minimum trip.
Ennoble (IRE)
Contested strong Curragh maidens last spring then after 3 months off finished third of 7 at Cork in September. Bit disappointing on softer ground on final outing last year and stumbled and unseated rider start on return at Navan in May. Shortlisted with yard going very well.
Profit Surge (IRE)
Knocking firmly at the door, again finding one too strong kept to claiming company at Fairyhouse (6f, good) just over 5 weeks ago. Blinkers retained.
Sparky Sparky (IRE)
Confirmed return to form in first-time cheekpieces when second of 13 in maiden at Cork (5f, good) just under 3 weeks ago. Sure to be popular on the back of that effort.
Focaccia (IRE)
Wasted no time getting back on track when seventh of 20 in maiden at the Curragh (6f, good to firm) 6 days ago, flashing tail from 2f out. Clearly less than straightforward but has the ability to take one of these before long.
Kidd (IRE)
€2,000 yearling, Invincible Army filly. Dam 5f winner (including at 2 yrs) who stayed 6f. Tongue tied for debut. Big outsider.
White Smoke (IRE)
Runner-up in 6f maidens at the Curragh in August and September but well beaten both starts in cheekpieces this year (handicap debut latest). First-time blinkers/tongue tie applied but not the easiest to warm to.
