Timeform View

SIR TRANCEALOT looks well worth a chance to build on his promising handicap debut third at Fairyhouse last month with the Johnny Murtagh team in good form. Fellow 3-y-o No Bother Aoife remains one who could click in handicaps and Gavin Cromwell has a strong recent record in this race. Eastern Wind goes well at Bellewstown and is also shortlisted along with Jazz Forever and John McConnell's new recruit Masego.

Timeform Comments

Rising Sky (IRE)
Winner at Dundalk in March. 40/1, third of 15 in handicap at Naas (11f, good) 9 days ago, nearest finish. Claims if in similar form.
Porsche Lad (IRE)
Dual all-weather winner. Off 104 days, ran poorly when sixteenth of 17 in handicap back on turf at Leopardstown (9f, soft) 3 weeks ago. Significantly back up in trip.
Cala Gracioneta (IRE)
11/1 and hooded first time, good second of 11 in handicap at Listowel (2m, good) 33 days ago. Looked suited by that longer trip so this return to shorter isn't sure to play to her strengths.
Robot Rock (FR)
Runner-up in a claimer in France. Yet to get competitive in 3 handicaps for this yard but there were slightly more encouraging signs at Limerick (1m) last time. Worth a second look in the betting.
Jazz Forever (IRE)
Sole Flat win from 24 starts came back in 2024 but did make a good return to the level after a couple of poor runs over hurdles when third of 16 in handicap at Navan (13f, good) 26 days ago. Considered.
Trishuli River (IRE)
In good form at Dundalk over the winter but she's nowhere as potent on turf, despite a much lower mark in this sphere.
Eastern Wind
C&D winner. Good second of 19 in handicap at Leopardstown in May. Not seen to best effect at Navan since and respected at a venue where she has a good record.
Magna Gee Gee (IRE)
On a losing run but took a step back in the right direction tackling 1½m for the first time this year when sixth of 17 at Fairyhouse (good to soft) 3 weeks ago.
Circus Act (IRE)
Fair fourth on the Flat at Sligo in May but well held over hurdles since. First run for yard after leaving James A. Nash. Others are more persuasive.
Without Love
Winner at Dundalk in January. Reached the frame there on next 2 starts and the fitting of blinkers seemed to backfire last time. They are left off ahead of this return to turf after 112 days off.
Sir Trancealot (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden. 7/1 and cheekpieces on first time, improved third of 17 on handicap debut at Fairyhouse (1½m, good to soft) 21 days ago. Much less exposed than most of these and leading claims for yard going well.
Masego (IRE)
9/2, career best when winning 19-runner handicap at Leopardstown (13f, good) 49 days ago by 2¼ lengths from Eastern Wind. Left Mags Mullins after and interesting contender for new yard.
Amethyst Stone (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden. Ninth of 16 on handicap debut at Limerick (1½m, good to soft, 9/1) 23 days ago, not knocked about. Still early days for an in-form yard.
Sarmiento Power (IRE)
Hasn't cut much ice in 6 starts this year.
Idomything (IRE)
Yet to fire in 4 runs this season, never dangerous when sixth of 14 in handicap at Down Royal (13f, soft, 25/1) 13 days ago.
No Bother Aoife (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden. Respectable eighth of 15 in handicap at Fairyhouse (1¼m, good) 28 days ago, not ideally placed. Up in trip. Remains unexposed for a stable with a good record in this race.
Private Larry (IRE)
Well held all 6 starts. RESERVE.
Maker's Mark (IRE)
Maiden. 66/1, stamina looked stretched when well-held fifth of 12 in handicap at Down Royal (10.4f, soft) 13 days ago and has even further to go if getting a run. RESERVE.
Plus Or Minus (IRE)
First run since leaving Willie McCreery when seventh of 14 in handicap at Down Royal (13f, soft) on reappearance. Needs to leave that well behind. RESERVE.
