It's hard to get away from ELOQUENCIA, who's in excellent hands and had more in the tank when winning at Ripon last time. Andrew Balding's Last Verse ought to be capable of better, and he could be a serious danger.

Timeform Comments

Ohara
Decisive winner of a nursery at Pontefract (1m, heavy) at the end of last season. Wasn't ideally placed on first start over 1¼m at Sandown latest, and he's still relatively unexposed over middle distances.
Eloquencia
Sea The Stars filly. Out of a sister to the Lingfield Oaks Trial winner Birdie. Improved to make a winning handicap debut in first-time cheekpieces at Ripon (1¼m). Had more in the tank on that occasion, and she's fancied to follow up over a trip that should suit.
Last Verse (IRE)
Son of Camelot who has plenty of stamina in his pedigree. Entitled to be sharper for his handicap debut/reappearance at Lingfield (1¼m). Remains with potential over middle distances for excellent connections, and he's the type who'll benefit from first-time cheekpieces.
Battosai (IRE)
€170,000 Invincible Spirit colt. Dam, fairly useful 1½m winner. Runner-up in a similar event at Salisbury in May. Wasn't beaten far in a better race at Newmarket last time, and he's probably worth another try over 1½m. Cheekpieces replace blinkers.
Rumbustious
Pulled clear with a fairly useful type at Thirsk (1½m) on penultimate start. Couldn't repeat that form when asked to make the running at Windsor since, but he's entitled to be in the mix if back to his best.
