Timeform View

RONSON has made a fine start to his career and, having still shown signs of inexperience when just touched off in the Beverley 2-y-o Trophy on his most recent outing, could easily have more to offer. Miss Lizzy excelled herself with a mid-field finish in the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot and that form puts her firmly in the mix, with Bill The Bull also respected back up in grade.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

A decent pace still shouldn’t detract from the chances of those who race on or near the front end such as Bill The Bull: Despite a suspicion the pace will be sound, those held up such as Miss Lizzy usually is are still likely to have their work cut out.

Timeform Comments

A Bear Affair (IRE)
Kodi Bear colt who knew what was required when providing his trainer with a third Brocklesby in 5 years in March. Hasn't progressed in 3 runs since but got back on track when sixth of 25 in Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot (6f, good to firm) 16 days ago.
Bill The Bull (IRE)
Didn't need to improve to get off the mark back in calmer waters in 11-runner maiden at Bath (5.7f, good to firm, 4/7) 28 days ago. Not beaten far in listed company over C&D on penultimate outing and can make presence felt back up in grade.
It Dunt Marra
£100,000 yearling, A'ali colt. Brother to 2-y-o 6.5f winner Fairy Oak. Dam, 9.4f winner who stayed 1½m, half-sister to smart 1¼m/10.3f winner Dark Red. Shaped with promise behind an experienced one at Goodwood (5f) on debut a fortnight ago and open to improvement.
Ronson
Ubettabelieveit colt who was much improved from debut when winning a 6-runner Beverley novice in May, forging clear in the final 1f to score by 5 lengths. Ran a cracker when narrowly denied in 2-y-o Trophy there later that month and further improvement can't be ruled out.
Underdog
£140,000 yearling, Perfect Power colt who made winning debut over C&D last month but failed to match that effort in the Norfolk Stakes just 8 days later. Should still improve.
Bint Archange (IRE)
Built on promising Newmarket debut when a ready 4-length winner of an Ascot novice (good to firm) in May. Shaped as if amiss in Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot subsequently, so worth another chance.
Divine Whisper
NON-RUNNER.
Havana Flash (IRE)
Left debut form well behind dropped in grade when second of 6 in 5f novice at Lingfield (good to firm) 6 days ago. This demands plenty more but she's likely to progress again.
Miss Lizzy
Has improved with each run, opening account in 6f maiden at Wolverhampton in May. Not seen to best effect when fifth of 9 in 5f Chantilly listed event prior to excelling herself with a mid-field finish in Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot. That form puts her firmly in the mix.
