The percentage call is JACK LANGLEY, who may be able to make it 2 wins from 3 for new connections. Saratoga Gold is on a long losing run but looks interesting contesting this grade for the first time, with Free World another to note down in class.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Jack Langley traded at a high of 1.61 and Betfair SP of 1.51 when winning last time, a race in which it raced towards the rear.

Timeform Comments

Jack Langley
Unexposed on turf. Comfortable winner of a weak race at Lingfield (13f) 7 days ago. Likely better to come on just third start for yard that has done well with new recruits this year.
Saratoga Gold
Veteran extended long losing run with a rare poor effort at Kempton latest. Best effort last year came under this jockey in refitted blinkers (replace cheekpieces today), and he may well bounce back down in grade.
Free World
Fair form in 3 starts at Meydan in winter of 2024/25. Hasn't shown much either start for current yard. Benefits from significant drop in class and no surprise to see him make more of an impact.
Ikigai Star (IRE)
Didn't pull up any trees in handicaps at Salisbury/Newbury last summer. Visor goes on first time on the Flat, having been well beaten on latest hurdle start at Hereford in May.
Chambers (IRE)
Maiden wasn't beaten far in this grade on the all-weather last autumn. Likely had one eye on handicap hurdles when down the field in a Warwick maiden last month, and he at least warrants a market check on return to the Flat.
Regally Blonde
Races off 1 lb lower mark than when successful in this race 12 months ago. Connections presumably had a repeat in mind when well held over an inadequate trip at Windsor last time.
