Timeform View

FINANCER is a long time without a win but has dropped to a handy mark and has shaped quite well from off the pace in stronger races than this this season, so a chance is taken on him. Bellasio ran well when runner-up here last time and is shortlisted again, with Krissy also hard to rule out.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Timeform Comments

Mr Lincoln
Had some quite useful Flat form in Ireland and made it 4 creditable efforts on the spin across both codes when second of 10 at Ayr (1¼m, soft) 15 days ago, albeit no match for winner. Drops back in trip.
Krissy (IRE)
Form has taken off since the end of last year, holding on gamely to notch her fourth win of the campaign in a 6-runner handicap at Musselburgh (9f, good to firm) 12 days ago. Hardy sort who should give her running again despite another 3 lb rise.
Financer
Successful 3 times in 2024 but hold-up run-style has rendered him tricky to win with since. Not seen to best effect in first-time blinkers when fifth of 14 in handicap at this course (1m, good to firm) 10 days ago having lacked room on the inner. Should be able to make presence felt down in grade.
Kisiyra (IRE)
Lost her way for Johnny Murtagh in 2024 and seen only twice for present yard subsequently, soundly beaten on return from 12 months off at Hamilton last month.
Izzari (GER)
Successful twice last year, his latest win coming at Newcastle (1¼m) in September. Made the frame there on reappearance but finished well held all 3 starts since and it's easy to look elsewhere.
Eagles Dream (IRE)
Still a maiden but ran well when fifth of 12 in handicap at Killarney (14.4f, good) when last seen back in August. Down in trip and has absence to overcome but makes debut for new trainer (left John Joseph Murphy) with the yard in good form.
Hostility (IRE)
Still not the most straightforward but he finally shed his maiden tag under an inspired ride from Daniel Tudhope in a 12-runner race at this course (1m, good) 19 days ago by ½ length from Bellasio. Remains with handicapping scope, but far from certain to be in the same mood here.
Bellasio (IRE)
Held his form well in 2025, winning over 1m here before finishing second in this race last summer. Produced his most encouraging effort of this campaign when ½-length second of 12 to Hostility in handicap at this course (1m, good) 19 days ago and he should go well again from just 1 lb higher.
Jewel Maker (IRE)
Veteran produced his best effort of this season when fourth at C&D on his penultimate outing but down the field behind Hostility and Bellasio since and looks up against it again.
