Already had a very productive 2026, making it 3 wins in 4 starts over at Wolverhampton in March and was only narrowly denied another victory at Southwell the following month. Not disgraced when third of 13 back at Wolverhampton (8.6f) last time and he's respected back on turf after a short break.
Book Of Life
Very modest strike rate but largely holding his form, hitting the frame for the ninth time this season at Wolverhampton in May. Travelled well but wasn't able to sustain his effort having a rare turf outing at Hamilton 17 days ago.
Mertoun (FR)
Down the field in novice/maidens but proved a different proposition when a fast-finishing second on Windsor handicap debut (1m) in May and went one place better at that same C&D 12 days ago. Will keep improving and he's the one to beat taking on his elders for the first time.

Losing sequence is mounting up but ran better than for a while when 2¼ lengths third of 6 at Brighton a fortnight ago. Proved keen when fourth of 8 in handicap at Pontefract (1¼m, good to firm) 5 days ago and he's probably playing for minor honours back down in trip.
Misemerald (IRE)
Without a win since her 2-y-o days but she's in decent form at the minute, keeping on gradually when second of 8 in handicap at Catterick (7f, firm, 15/2) 12 days ago. Cheekpieces back on. Place claims again.
Top Gun Tina
Finally off the mark in handicap at Carlisle last summer but hasn't looked like adding to her tally since and she again looks vulnerable for win purposes.
Wheres The Crumpet
Won at C&D in May 2025. Decent third in a classified event at Southwell at the turn of the year but has struggled since.
Shoptilyoudrop (FR)
Remains winless after 22 starts, but finished closer than previously for current yard when 3¾ lengths fourth of 11 in handicap at Wolverhampton (7f) in February. Faded as if short of fitness at Hamilton after a 4-month absence a couple of weeks ago but others still make more appeal overall.
Sanny Doo
Hasn't shown any ability in 6 starts (trained by James Tate on debut), including in 2 handicaps. Cheekpieces go on (previously tried in a hood).
