Timeform Comments

Another Investment (IRE)
Mostly below form after winning at Doncaster (6f) last summer but much more like it returned to that C&D when runner-up in a 9-runner handicap 2 weeks ago. Respected kept to this lower grade.
Thistle Nil (IRE)
Caused a major upset on his third start when just holding on to win an 8-runner maiden at Ayr (6f, soft, 200/1) 15 days ago. Interesting to see if he can back that effort up now handicapping.
No Return (IRE)
Headstrong sort who won twice over 6f in Ireland last spring and best effort for present yard when runner-up at Lingfield in January. Rather going through the motions since, though, not really convincing with his finishing effort at Hamilton last time.
Lumenbourg
Back to best when winning C&D handicap last month and emerged with credit having gone up 4 lb to a career-high mark when fourth of 9 at Doncaster (6f, good to firm) 2 weeks ago. Should be in the mix again.
Invincible Ruby (IRE)
Dropped a long way in the weights prior to returning to form and winning a 9-runner C&D handicap in June. Didn't settle quite so well when third of 11 in handicap at Pontefract (6f, good, 5/1) 13 days ago but still has good claims back here.
Sherlock (IRE)
Gained a breakthrough win at Newcastle in February and made the frame on 3 of his next 4 starts. Right back to his best with blinkers reapplied when second of 7 in handicap (11/2) at Hamilton (6f, good to firm) 9 days ago and there's no reason why he shouldn't go well again.
Fan Mail
Successful at Southwell (6f) in October and he went close at C&D in May. Has long held an awkward streak and was again an unattractive sight under pressure when fifth of 7 in handicap at Ripon (6f, good to firm, 4/1) 16 days ago. Others preferred.
Too Much
All 3 wins on all-weather, with latest success at Newcastle (7f) in March last year. Shaped as if needing the outing after 8 months off on return and was possibly still shy of peak fitness after another 7-week break at C&D last month. Others look more solid overall.
Maui Breeze
Runner-up over 1m at Newcastle just after Christmas but below that level in 6 outings this year, including when dropped back to a sprint trip at Pontefract 2 weeks ago.
