Timeform View

MASTERIUS went down by just a head on his recent Rules debut and entitled to build on that here, David Pipe's 4-y-o earns the vote to go one better. Zandahar found only a next-time-out winner too strong at Plumpton in May, so she's put forward as the main danger, while Poppieholla didn't show much first time up but is clearly thought capable of better given the weight of market support behind her that day.

Timeform Comments

Don De La Frontera
Frontiersman gelding. Half-brother to modest 2½m hurdle winner Late Night Drama. Last both starts in points (latest Apr 19).
Ifyouhaveaplan
€7,000 3-y-o, Falco gelding. Half-brother to 2 winners, including hurdler Inspector Lynley, stays 25f. Made frame on last 2 of 4 starts in points, runner-up latest (May 17).
Litaque (FR)
Estejo gelding who got off mark in points at second attempt (match) and showed ability when third of 9 in bumper at Worcester (2m, good to soft) last month. Entitled to build on that here.
Masterius (FR)
Pastorius gelding who finished runner-up sole outing in Irish points and shaped encouragingly when second of 6 in bumper over C&D (good to firm) just over a fortnight ago, keeping on well final 1f. Every chance he can go one better.
Parisian Fair (IRE)
Way To Paris gelding. Half-brother to 2 winners on Flat, including 1¾m winner Indian Vision. Dam 1¾m winner, from family of useful staying hurdler Percy Veer and very smart staying hurdler/chaser Cape Tribulation. Rare runner here for this yard.
Secret Message (IRE)
€240,000 yearling; 1,500 gns 4-y-o, Ghaiyyath gelding. Half-brother to numerous winners on Flat, including smart 5f/6f winner Encrypted. Dam 1m winner.
Ayla's Star
Yorgunnabelucky mare. Dam (h101) 17f-21f hurdle winner, also 1¼m-11.6f winner on Flat. Tongue tied for debut.
Guerdale
Frontiersman mare who showed only greenness when last of 6 in bumper at Southwell (2m, good) last month. Likely to need more time.
Parish Girl (IRE)
Parish Hall filly who showed some ability when third of 6 in bumper at Plumpton (2¼m, good) just under 6 weeks ago. Needs to build on that here.
Poppieholla
Passing Glance filly who was sent off favourite but didn't show much when eighth of 14 in bumper at Worcester (2m, good to soft) last month. Clearly thought capable of better.
Zandahar (IRE)
Harzand filly who showed plenty in a muddling race when second of 6 in bumper at Plumpton (2¼m, good) on debut just under 6 weeks ago. Winner that day has gone in again since so she's shortlisted.
