Timeform View

Preference is for TOY SOLDIER, who conceded first run when a good second at Roscommon last week and remains nicely weighted. Monhammer and Lope Y Linda are feared most.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Monhammer traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 25% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts: Bring Her Home traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP 3 times on 4 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Defence Missile (IRE)
NON RUNNER.
Toy Soldier (IRE)
Irish raider who has been in good form in recent starts, latest when creditable second of 15 in handicap (3/1) at Roscommon (7f, good to soft) 5 days ago. Races off same mark here and holds strong claims.
Penny Mountain (IRE)
Opened account over 6f at Newcastle on New Year's Day. Hasn't been able to add to that victory since but made the frame in 6f handicaps the last twice and looks worth another crack at this longer trip.
Jkr Cobbler (IRE)
Four-time C&D winner who has acquitted himself well in defeat in recent outings, latest when fourth of 12 in handicap at Carlisle (1m, good, 10/3) 20 days ago, not clear run. One of the likelier contenders.
Ramon Di Loria (IRE)
Course winner who landed back-to-back handicaps at Wolverhampton earlier this year. Returned to form when good third of 9 in handicap at Musselburgh (7f, good to firm) 5 days ago and must enter calculations.
South Road (IRE)
Winner of a big-field sprint here at this time last year but ended campaign on a low note and little encouragement this term, refusing to leave the stalls at Hamilton latest. Best watched.
Monhammer
Not scored for over 2 years but posted best effort for a while when good second of 9 in handicap (8/1) at Musselburgh (7f, good to firm) 5 days ago and can race off same mark here. Player.
Lope Y Linda
Off the mark at Catterick in May and back on scoreboard when taking 8-runner minor event (11/10) over C&D (good to soft) 15 days ago. Respected.
Summerstorms Dream (IRE)
Still looking for a breakthrough victory and positive signs when third on return here (6f) in May. Not built on that in a couple of starts since, however.
Bonito Cavalo
After a most productive campaign in 2024, lost his way last year and has fared no better this season, failing to beat a rival home the last twice.
Bring Her Home (IRE)
Not troubled the judge in 7 outings, including on debut for new yard at Newcastle when last seen 8 months ago. Has had a breathing operation during her absence.
Bobbys Pride (IRE)
Failed to show any ability in 5 outings thus far, including in return at Musselburgh last month.
