Timeform View

ELEVEN EIGHTY TWO had a next-time-out winner back in third when runner-up at Carlisle last time and, from a handy draw near the rail, can go one better now. Halcon shaped promisingly when third on her C&D debut and is second choice ahead of Karl Burke's Sovereign Grace. It also wouldn't be any surprise to see Lady Rosalind leave her debut behind and play a prominent role.

Timeform Comments

Lady Rosalind
9/2, only ninth of 13 in maiden at Yarmouth (6f, good to firm) on debut 10 days ago but with a top yard and wouldn't be a surprise to see her prove a different proposition at the second time of asking.
Sovereign Grace (FR)
Invincible Spirit filly who was given a considerate introduction when sixth of 9 in novice at York (5f, good) 24 days ago. In top hands and sure to come on from that initial effort.
Sweet Iris (IRE)
Foaled March 7. £25,000 Blackbeard filly. Dam unraced half-sister to smart winner up to 1m Majestic Queen. A newcomer to note in the betting.
Texting
Foaled February 27. 32,000 gns Caturra filly. Half-sister to useful 5f/6f winner Clearpoint and winner up to 6f Music History. Dam unraced. Best watched on debut unless the betting suggests otherwise.
Thunder Filly
Foaled March 25. €24,000 Lope Y Fernande half-sister to 7.6f/1m winner James Park Woods and useful 7f winner Heavenly Holly. One of 2 newcomers from the Fahey stable. The betting should help to separate them.
Travellers Girl (IRE)
Space Traveller filly who has shown a fair level of ability when reaching the frame in C&D maiden and 6f Thirsk novice (both good to firm) in recent weeks. A bit more will be needed.
Turbo Shandy (IRE)
Has contested a pair of 7f sellers so far, stepping up on debut when just under 3 lengths fourth of 5 at Musselburgh 14 days ago. Easy to look elsewhere.
Celita Star
18/1, well-held sixth of 7 in maiden at Hamilton (5f, good to firm) on debut 11 days ago.
Eleven Eighty Two (IRE)
All the wiser with her debut behind her when second of 10 in maiden at Carlisle (6f, good) 3 weeks ago. Leading claims with further improvement likely.
Halcon
Promising third of 7 on C&D debut (good to firm) 19 days ago, unable to sustain effort. Open to progress and should go well.
Spark In The Coal (IRE)
No promise in 2 outings at Beverley in May. Likely booked for another struggle.
Spirit Of Lyra (IRE)
Foaled April 21. 16,000 gns Lucky Vega filly. Closely related to 1m winner Almos Vezer. The William Knight 2-y-os are going well and he hasn't had too many Ripon runners over the years. One to note in the betting.
Wells Fargo Stage
Hinted at ability over 7f at Carlisle last time but seems unlikely to be of real interest until handicapping.
