The chief threat could come from Musical Soldier who is worth another chance back at 7f.

Off the mark over this C&D on third start last year before finishing runner-up twice in nurseries. However, having left Jack Channon she's finished well held all 3 outings this season, the latest at this course (6f) 11 days ago.
Grand Vista (IRE)
Showed ability in his 3 qualifying runs, but in first-time blinkers he ran no sort of race when last of 11 in handicap at Salisbury (6f, heavy) on latest outing. Headgear quickly discarded and has shaped as if 7f is likely to suit.
Luna Beaux (IRE)
Dual 6f winner on the all-weather who returned to form with a couple of in-frame efforts at Bath in May/June. Well supported but ran one of lesser races here (6f) 11 days ago, so needs to bounce back returned to 7f, though she is on a handy mark.
Musical Soldier (IRE)
Made all over 7f at Wolverhampton in May. Beaten favourite next 2 outings but runner-up effort back at that venue last month was a sound one. Failed to get home over 1m at Bath last time, so no surprise to see a better showing returned to shorter.
Escape Magic
No better than mid-division in a trio of starts late last year, but after 6 months off she proved a different proposition making handicap/turf debut when winning 9-runner contest at Leicester in May. The one to beat with further improvement to come.
Ken Brulee
Left previous form behind when opening account at Lingfield (6f, good) in May. Hasn't kicked on since, though, in first-time visor when third of 6 at this course (6f) 11 days ago. Cheekpieces soon go back on as he tries this trip for the first time.
